Is that how Liberals and Christians are made??? Liberals have Liberal babies and Christians have Christian Babies??? I don't think it works like that.

Children do tend to mirror their parents ideals. Sometimes traumatic or oppressive behavior causes children to take a different direction, but mostly I think that is exactly how it happens.

This is a topic I never understood. It seems to me, that if you allow liberals to have abortions, then later there will be less of them for Christians to fight with. By reducing their own population, they ensure the dominant survivors would be more like the Christians. I know, I'm a bit crazy for the way I think. Just it never made sense to me.

It doesn't require Trauma or Oppressive Behavior. We all have the ability to make our own choices in life.

Many are Brainwashed with their parents beliefs, this is true. This isn't a positive thing however. Parents should raise their kids to be who they choose to be, not copies of themselves.

Only a statist would want their regional affairs planned by someone outside of the region. Let states define the laws of their own states.

Your rebuttal to Windword was that it was easy/convenient to get an abortion prior to Obamacare.

After taking into account the real implications of the OP it shifted to:

I hope you can see how vastly different getting an abortion prior to Obamacare and having to drive to a different friggin state is!

I think it has more to do with allowing others to choose for themselves on such a personal matter as this rather than forcing everyone to comply with some moral or religious rule.

Liberals I'm sure have many concepts of what and when an unborn child is a child and not a clump of cells. But it's because of the complexity of the argument that they choose "Pro Choice". That way everyone is allowed to do what they feel is best.

You know, Freedom of Choice to do what you think is best. You should support that idea too ya know. You don't like others making your choices for you either when it comes to some issues. This way you can choose to have have babies while others choose not to. Fair is fair.

Thing is that you get all kinds of answers from them that really just boil down to "it's a baby when mom feels it's convenient to think it is." They don't commit to a hard line or age.

For example, there is ample evidence that a child born as young as 21 weeks premature has a chance to survive outside its mother with medical support. So do we define that as a viable child and thus human being? No, there are plenty of leftists, including the president, who would say that babies much further along in gestation can be aborted at the mother's convenience, right up until the point of birth.

There are some leftists who even make the philosophical and ethical argument that a baby might not even be human until it is approaching 2 years of age!

For myself, I have a hard time looking at a baby in the NICU and seeing how everyone is moving heaven and earth to give it a chance at life and knowing that maybe even just down the street other babies at the exact same gestation age are being callously discarded by their mothers for the sake of convenience, and knowing that the only thing that prevents one from being the other is that one has a mother who wants it and the other has a mother who does not. Why do we allow one to live and the other to be murdered based on that alone?

Of course, it also doesn't help any that my husband was adopted and two of my nephews are also adopted as was a cousin of mine ...

Pay for your own birth control or keep your legs closed. It's obvious Americans in most states don't want to pay extra for your promiscuity.

Seriously, get a grip. If you're old enough and responsible enough to engage in intercourse and want to scream from the rooftops it's your body and you need to be in 100% control of it then you should be responisble enough to get a job and buy birth control.

That was the problem in a Liberal controled America, nobody liked to call out obvious hypocrisy because it was insensitive, politicaly incorrect and alerted social justice warriors but ummmm, we are trying to make America great again so get a job and buy your birth control.

My husband narrowly missed being a victim of it. He is now in his 40s.

You can obtain an abortion in pretty much every state and could prior to Obamacare.

I hope yo don't mind me stirring up the conversation a little. I am surprised more people didn't take the bait. I think the answer is very simple. All rights are derived from property rights. You just need to determine when the fetus/baby owns itself. Some would say at birth, others at conception. I personally think somewhere in the middle somewhere. Not sure exactly when.

Because in demanding your right to choose, you are forcing the rest of us to go along with what you want. Obamacare mandates that we pay for the abortions and the birth control methods of your choices.

Not to mention, if the child is a human being, you are asking us to go along with your choice to murder another human being.

I realize that plenty of people have embraced moral relativism, but for someone who has not, something that is wrong is wrong no matter how the person making the choice might feel about it.
