I am in the hospital

Damn brother, I wish you the best. I spent a lot of time in the hospital and know how it is. I will keep you in my prayers. You're a young strong man, so you will overcome this bad time in life. I could tell you what I have been through but it would take a couple of books lol! Yea, as someone else said stay off the intoxicants. They seem to cause more problems than they help.

He must take it one day at a time and NEVER take it for granted again.

In fact, he needs to take it out of his own hands. HIS hands can't manage. God can help, and also making things right in your life.

Almost one year for me. # alcohol.

Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to force a change to happen in us. It's not an easy road to travel , but you really can do it.

I am sorry to hear about your tuff time Tech, I can not imagine how difficult being homeless would be and naturally enough alcohol would be a way of escaping such a difficult time. Sadly it merely compounds the problem.

It is great to hear that you are taking this as a wake up call, make the commitment to yourself to stop.

I'm no phychic, but something is telling me that this was most definitely a wake up call, and that you're gonna make it this time. I can see you making a wonderful counselor once you've worked through your own battlefield.
Just remember, it will be hard, but it'll be worth it.

Only read the op but hope your okay, I was until recently also homeless for a while and nearly killed myself with drink and drugs trying to block it all out so understand were you were and if you need a hand just give me a shout mate.
