Awww, cute pic John!

Skid, what happened to the job you were supposed to get, or it sounded like you would?

Hey sometimes persistance pays off. Keep bugging the same places. They will see You are devoted, and it might help them to decide to hire you!! I remember My dad telling me that, years ago. Also, find out stuff about the place you are applying at, use that in your 'talks' with them. It shows You care about the position you are tying for. Might help, and it certainly won't hurt!! Good luck Bro!!

It worked for me years ago when I applied at a place. So yes, true and good advice.

Okay, I've made an account and voted. You now have my vote as well, I hope it helps.

Anyone mind giving Mark a hand? He needs votes for his story, it really matters to him and if it does to him, then it's our job as his friends to help him out.

Vote for Skid Mark's Story

Plus, his story looks pretty cool, too.

Sorry Sheddites, I am around and trying to get caught up on some things. Also trying to stay awake. I am popping in and out as usual. Starting to feel like a jack in the box. LOL

Make yourselves comfortable and sit by the fire. Hugs!

Either you weren't looking for it or it just magically appeared.

Jess, Love the earrings! I have a bracelet with little jingle bells in red, gold, green and silver.

Skid and Syx, well the dog looks comfy lying there. I guess he can stay.

Anytime!!! I've been in this hobby for over ten years and I'm still learning things almost weekly. Just takes time to get used to what various locomotives, paint schemes, and railroads that are out there. Had to dig through my Photobucket album and find a few old paint schemes and locomotives.

Like this former Soo Line/Indiana Railroad Electro-Motive SD60 that I found on a coal train one day about five years ago.

Or this Grupo Transportacion de Mexico Electro-Motive SD70AC that I saw setting over at Quincy, WV one day.

Same location that I found the TFM motor only about a mile to the north of where that photo was taken. Found these two setting at the north end of Dickinson Yard on a loaded coal train.

I must say that I love old paint schemes........

Skiddy, you can sit by that fire, or lay by the fire anytime. This your magical place where you can do as you please.

Hiya Chooch! When are you going to follow the polar express?

I entered the short story contest that Gordi announced. You can find my entry here. I don't know how good it is. The idea popped into my head while I was feeding the dogs and I ran with it.
