Good morning everyone!
I bring forth extra strong coffee into this fine den!
It's so strong, it's smiling at you! "Drink me! Drink me!"
*waves to John*
I'm not a fan of the 40 degree days, myself. I can function, I just don't like them. My friend's ex-wife though!!! Oh dear, poor girl. She moved to
Australia from Canada.... I'm sure you can imagine her love of air conditioning for the first few years.
*waves to WIS*
*hugs* ~ A hug for the other day! I was meaning to tell you, that your post made me finally become aware of what I want to write to you in my
first ever letter to you! I've been neglecting writing for months because I was unsure of what to say, and I didn't want to send you a half-arsed
letter, but now I know! And I hope to send it and have you receive it before Christmas.
As for our storms... we do get mini-tornados here and there, but they're rather uncommon. Our storms are usually just a lot of wind, rain, thunder,
lightning, crash! bang! no power!
Speaking of storms though! We had a good one yesterday afternoon. I was writing my entry for Gordi and Slayer's Christmas short story contest..
when... I could hear thunder in the distance!
Filled with excitement, I look over at the radar... and there is this mass of blues and yellows and REDs heading right for me! Eeeeeeeeeeeee! I
continue writing as fast as I can, in the hopes I can finish it before the storm arrives... I keep my eye on the radar... writing, radar, writing,
radar...
I finish my story -
Through Darkest Night...
The crashes of thunder are getting boomier all around us, shaking the house, and I thought to myself.. okay, better turn off everything just to be on
the safe side. Less than 5 minutes later - power outage that lasted til near midnight, and the lovely sounds of the wind and rain for the next hour or
so.
Lovely!
Haven't had a good storm in ages!
And...... I write too much...
*Kaelci shuffles away, apologising profusely for being too verbose*
