I should have included this in the OP, but I would also like to point out that Scalia was a member of the Knights of Malta, which is an important point that should not be overlooked.

Food for thought: Podesta is also a Roman Catholic, but he advocated for the left-wing activist plot to start a "Catholic Spring", a revolution within the Catholic Church. Maybe Antonin Scalia was in the way, because he was a traditional Catholic. If you remember our discussion on that previous thread, the Knights of Malta is a militant order. Podesta taught at Georgetown, a Jesuit institution.

The current pope is also a jesuit.

The current pope is also non-traditional and would probably be just fine with a "Catholic Spring".

The current pope was in the very area where Antonin Scalia was murdered....I mean died.

Scalia's death was ritualistically carried out, imo, with the blessing and absolution by the pope. (my opinion)

Where did Seth Rich go to school? Creighton University.

Creighton University is a private, coeducational, Jesuit, Roman Catholic university located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Founded by the Society of Jesus in 1878, the school is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.

hmmmm.

And the Order of St. Hubertus has history with the Knights of Malta.

The pope bestowed the order of the Golden Fleece upon King Abdhulla, which did not sit well with many other members of said order or other orders, IIRC.

Or, you know, Martha's Vineyard, Mass., which has been a sort of spiritual retreat for Democrats since the JFK administration, where the Kennedy family owns land, where major Democrat fundraisers meet every year, one of whom (Richard Friedman) has several properties that he has often let rent-free to the Clinton family.

See: roomfordebate.blogs.nytimes.com...

Note that 'the Vineyard' in the email has a capital 'V'. It's not any old vineyard, it's "the Vineyard."

I bet a lot of plotting and planning takes place on The Vineyard. It has also become a fav of the Obamas.

Indeed. It is also closely associated with two deaths that took place there, one involving a Kennedy and the other being of a Kennedy.

JFK Jr: en.wikipedia.org...
EMK: en.wikipedia.org...

There's a curious coincidence here, in that both these fatalities involved submersion in the water (the 'wet' in 'wet jobs'?) and the email references to 'buckle up' and 'double down' might be seen as references to seatbelt-wearing (the EMK case) and the 'downing' of two men called John F Kennedy ('double downing').

Presumably this is a deliberate play on words, to go with the 'wet jobs' double entendre in the previous email. Geeky office humor.

There is more here to be fleshed out. I think the entire email thread is key to understanding what is being said. One thing is certain: those of us who worked in and around governments and bureaucracies know what "wet works" means, and it means the act of spilling the blood of an enemy so that the enemy dies. Could he be using the words in some ironic way? Yes, but no one can tell from this context. I return to the need to read the entire email thread and cross-reference to events across the political landscape in the USA in that same time period.

I agree that the "Vineyard," in the email most likely references Martha's Vineyard; that's a known elite cloister and our pal John certainly runs in those circles.

There are only 2 emails in all of the releases so far that have this particular email address (the one belonging to Steve Elmendorf) in them.

Related searches:

"Steve Elmendorf" (21 results, viewing 1 to 50)

"Elmendorf" (27 results, viewing 1 to 50)

One of these is a Doug Elmendorf; I can't find anything on whether or not they are related, but it does not look like they are at first look.

"Wet works," in this context is more than likely of the secret squirrel variety rather than the scatalogical context some seem intent to frame it in.

"...buckle up and double down," means to get yourself strapped in (prepared) and increase your stakes knowing you have more cards being dealt.

Really would like to see the instigating email for Podesta's initial message of, "Thanks."

But all things being equal, and looking at the timing that these were sent, I would assign a high probability that this refers to the Scalia situation.

There was a lot that got dug up in the tread to which I linked in the OP and unless you have a thorough grasp on all of the information, you won't really be able to appreciate how far reaching Justice Scalia's death is.

Yes, it is possible it was from "natural causes," but the shiftyness and shadiness surrounding his pronouncement of death, I'm inclined to think this just might be what we think it is.

Even if Hillary truly did not know of a plot to kill Scalia, having Podesta know about it would be enough, I think, to tank her campaign with how intrinsic the Podestas are with the Clinton operations.

Yeah, I read all that. It's a load of hooey. It isn't 'far-reaching' at all. You're just following the sort of connections that anyone who's a mover and shaker in Washington and high finance collects in their Rolodex. And they all spread out from someone who made an ambiguous remark in an unknown context that happened several days before a fat elderly man died unmysteriously in his sleep hundreds of miles away.

There's no evidence that this was a murder, and even if you believe without evidence that it was murder, then the subsequent cover-up includes
* All of Scalia's friends at that lodge with him (none of whom has ever expressed any suspicion)
* The cops who were called to the scene (who reported that there were no suspicious circumstances)
* Scalia's own physician (who reported Scalia's poor and worsening health)
* The Judge to whom both the police and the doctor made their reports (who consequently pronounced him dead by phone, which is completely legal and commonplace), and last but not least
* Scalia's own family who requested that an autopsy not be performed.

Coincidence? I think, as they say, NOT.

If this is your conclusion, you did not read with any comprehension the extensive and indepth thread J&C referenced.

Those "friends" you referred to were all members of the Order of St. Hubertus.
All of your other references were addressed with detail, so, no, I do not think you studied that thread very closely.

No, it was friends of the owner, not Scalia:

"All the guests were friends of mine, I paid for all of them. There were no politics, no jurisprudence in the slightest," he said.

"This was strictly a group of friends that the judge decided to join. He was coming with his son who had to drop out for reasons I don't' know.

"It was an honor to have him. He was widely admired. There were no speeches. He wasn't asked any hard questions, it was all about the outdoors and Texas, and what it's like to being a Supreme Court Justice," he said.

* The Judge to whom both the police and the doctor made their reports (who consequently pronounced him dead by phone, which is completely legal and commonplace), and last but not least

Actually, she was a Justice of the Peace and did not even have a law degree, and she was not the JP of that particular county; that JP would have ordered an autopsy:

"If it had been me . . . I would want to know,” Juanita Bishop, a justice of the peace in Presidio, Tex., said in an interview Sunday of the chaotic hours after Scalia’s death at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a luxury compound less than an hour from the Mexican border and about 40 miles south of Marfa.

That JP and sheriff together also had a questionable call on an autopsy in common in the past.

* Scalia's own physician (who reported Scalia's poor and worsening health)

Scalia wasn't a decrepit old man, he was quite fit and active. ATS member MotherMayEye wrote to the Justice of the Peace and got the letter Cinderela Guevara (theJP) received from Scalia's doctor. (MME, do you still have that doc? the link in the post I linked to here is no good)

* Scalia's own family who requested that an autopsy not be performed.

Actually, it was the U.S. Marshall that was on site who seemed oddly adamant that the JP not make the drive out to see the body herself who first insisted that an autopsy was not necessary.
