The thread title comes from a tweet by @0HOUR1_
which quotes an interesting email from within the Podesta emails released by Wikileaks:

Didn't think wet works meant pool parties at the Vineyard.

The email in question is:
/podesta-emails/emailid/6008

In a related tweet 0HOUR!_ quotes the following /podesta-emails/emailid/3188:

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, Steve Elmendorf < [email protected]> wrote: > We won. Raising money today, talking the bedwetters off the ledge and > heading to NH for a long weekend …let me know what else I can do

Once again, it is from Steve Elmendorf.

Steven A. Elmendorf, a lobbyist in Washington, D.C., was a senior advisor to House Democratic Leader Dick Gephardt for 12 years, serving as his chief of staff after 1997. Elmendorf was also deputy campaign manager for U.S. Senator John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic nominee for president.

Wikipedia

Elmendorf has lobbied for Monsanto and has also bundled donations for Hillary's campaign:

Another Monsanto lobbyist, Steve Elmendorf, bundled $20,295 in contributions for the Hillary for America organization during the quarter, FEC documents show. Elmendorf also does work for the Grocery Manufacturers Association, which has been battling against mandatory labeling laws for foods made with GMOs.

Big Campaign Cash for Clinton From Monsanto Lobbyist

As of this time, I have yet to find any connections between Elmendorf and any of the key people discussed in Skeptic's thread (linked below) regarding Scalia's death. It is my hope that by posting this thread, others here at ATS may find this of enough interest to put forth some effort and discover if there is anything to this latest wrinkle.

I'm not particularly familiar with this back story, so dont have anything here jumping out at me. Seems like you forgot to include the key paragraph?

The back story is Scalia's death and subsequent oddness. See Skeptic's thread for details.

As far as a brief overview of that thread. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was invited, at the last minute, to a private resort at which a gathering of 35 or so individuals took place. Of the four verified to be present, other than Justice Scalia, all were members of the International Order of St, Hubertus.

There was no autopsy due to an odd loophole in Texas law that allowed confirmation of death to be called in over the phone. Scalia was pronounced dead over the phone by a justice of the peace on the word of a sheriff. The particular judge and sheriff both were involved in another case in which an autopsy was not called for, but had suspicious circumstances surrounding that death as well.

Justice Scalia was a key member of the Supreme Court and also played a key role in several decisions; one of which was about the Argentine Debt default. In Skeptic's thread a lot more detail can be found regarding Argentina, the Pope, and Iron Mountain document storage fires.

Suffice to say that there were a large number of oddities surrounding Justice Scalia's death that were never satisfactorily answered.

The key paragraph is at the top of the OP.... where they refer to 'WET WORK'.
It is a term used by spooks for an operation where a person is murdered.

Has this been vetted/confirmed as real? If it has, this is very telling, wetwork is a term used in the military, but primarily the Intel community for particularly nasty/bloody "endings." Scalia, if I remember correctly was not particularly bloody, was given an oral sedative and suffocated with a pillow. Scalia was also not leaning left or right, he was the only moderate and therefore it would be a great advantage for obama/Hillary to appoint a left leaning judge, thereby stacking the deck on constitutional and other decisions. That would apply to republicans as well in appointing a right leaning judge. Since Hillary thinks this is all wrapped up and Podesta is talking about wetwork, suspicions do tend to lean towards Hillary.

Cheers - Dave

An interesting notion:

This email seems like it is in response to some other conversation.

Podesta sends the "Thanks," email to Elmendorf in which the "wet works," is mentioned and then to which Elmendorf responds with, "I'm all in."

I wonder if there is a yet-to-be-released email that was the instigation of the "Thanks," email from Podesta or perhaps if the email was a response to a phone call?

The earlier email from Elmendorf to Podesta states, "We won. Raising money today,..."

What was won (who is "we?") and for what is money being raised?

Oh, it's real. We can't link directly to WikiLeaks, but all you have to do is put this:

"/podesta-emails/emailid/6008"

in to your search engine of choice to find the specific email.

If there is something to this and it pans out?

This might actually be enough to change the course of the election that Hillary seems to be on track to win come hell or high water.

Very good response.

I've a done a little scratching & sniffing now, the dates are close but:
NH Primary: Feb. 9th
Scalia Death: Feb. 12th

Urban Dictionary has 2 main definitions of "Wetworks" / "wet works":
1. Assassination.
2. Peeing on men, for money.
www.urbandictionary.com...

We'd probably want to see the lead-in's, and lead-out's of those message strings before pushing on.

I'm concerned about his use of the "bedwetters" term though, considering the 'other' definition of wet works.

I had the same thoughts.
Tweets are out there from Anonymous that successive dumps coming out this week will be more enlightening.

I had a conspiracy theory bouncing around my head that involved taking out a Supreme Court Justice (and be replaced) to enable some key decision to be made that would benefit some group of bankers or businessmen. That would explain the money end of things.

"Wet Works" is actually 2 things. First and foremost, it is when a "Spook' does a 'redrum' on the bequest of a 'Higher Up' or 'String puller'...

Second is Anyone who rushed for lunch and dined at TacoBell™ The 'wet works' would be the potato burrito smothered w/cheese that is also known as 'The Rim Painter' ... If in the toilet, You have a choice of 3 in North Carolina You'll see somebody in the stall and they're jumping around like they're walking on coals (porcelain 2-step) w/sweat a dripping...

"bedwetters," is the libs term for republicans. What "ledge" would republicans have been on at the time?

Perhaps [tinhat] this 'ledge' he was referring to was republicans who were in on the 'decision' to off Scalia and that's what they had to be talked down off of?[/tinhat]

And, you're correct, that thing on Soros that TAT posted should be it's own thread.

The tipoff for me that this refers to the murder kind of wet works is that the person typed that they understood that it didn't refer to a 'pool party in the Hamptons'.
Now I am hungry for Taco Bell, even though I really don't like it that much and am usually sorry for eating it afterwards!

I think that this shows us that the divide between R's and D's isn't even real. They are working hand in hand on the dark money stuff.
