I haven't used Twitter or Instagram... But I certainly could. Do you think it's helpful for the YT channel? i.e does it bring extra traffic to your YT channel, just from posting about it, on Twitter / Instagram?

Oh I'm a very tiny player, smaller than you. I only have a couple of videos. I should post way more videos than I already did (I am planning to release a new one this week). Regarding your question about Twitter & Instagram, I'm about to find out when I post my new video. I only have 700 followers on twitter and close to 400 now on Instagram. I just started out Instagram last week. It's actually pretty fun. In that week time I met some great people that know a lot about the subject. Point me to other things. There's even a follower kind enough he wants me to help out with logo's and other graphical design to market my channel.

I genuinly believe he isn't a bad guy and his intentions (certainly in the beginning) were good. But there's at least one case (he admitted) he forged an audio from a "source".

You should look up "lions ground". He had a big role in the whole fiasco. There's also this video:

Well in the past, I looked into the one supposed hoax interview... and I didn’t think it was a hoax at all. Iirc the big problem was that he read aloud the interview... but the made the mistake of not stating clearly that that’s what he was doing.

Well, whether he was knowingly in or it or not, you have that video now where he claims he will be truthful for now on. Whatever that may mean. I don't know what to make of it. And again, I hope he gets his life on the rails soon, I really feel for him.

Ah ok thanks, I just watched that vid u posted. I saw it in the past... when I did not interpret it badly, but seeing it again now, I can see how people might interpret it badly.

I’m not quite sure exactly how to take that vid.

Either way I hope he gets better from whatever problems were clearly affecting him.

Also I still wonder why he deleted all content but also still managed to keep his channel itself, devoid of content... very strange...

Hey thanks, I see that you found my channel and just subbed. It’s just my username on YouTube, so my channel is just “James Chessman.”

I hope u do check it out: like I said, about half my vids are about genuine mysterious topics, UFO’s etc. And getting any Likes also really does help a YouTube channel apparently. I really don’t have many vids but like you, I’ve focused on real cases that aren’t heavily covered already.

Also the fact that u have so many times more YouTube subs than me, seems to suggest that you must be getting a ton of subs from Instagram and Twitter, apparently? I will have to check that out.

No the subs didn't come from any other social media. Haven't really properly used my Twitter and I just started my Instagram a few days ago.

The subs mostly come from one video that the YouTube algorithm picked up. It was a strange story about a strange picture of an Alien that supposedly was released. It intended to create a humorous video around with, while still throwing in the facts and it went viral pretty quickly to my surpise.

Ah Ok thanks for clarifying... Yeah my channel hasn't gotten big and nobody seems to really know how YouTube algorithms really work. But thankfully such channels are about genuine interests so it's not about getting big.

Sometimes I wonder if my channel has been on the wrong side of the algorithms though, for some reason lol.

I followed the drama for quite a while. I have no way of knowing if it's true, but I read several times that his videos weren't deleted, they're just hidden. People were claiming he just put all his videos on private because they were all getting hit with copyright claims from lionsguard (the dude who bought the copyright to Secureteam's channel logo) and he put them on private to keep from getting copyright strikes, which would cause his channel to be deleted.

People suspect he's gone silent because he's either in jail again, in rehab or his lawyer told him to not dig himself into a deeper hole by posting more videos on the subect (he already potentially got himself in trouble by posting that update video where he basically claimed that the police set him up, kidnapped him and beat him in jail, then the video of his DUI arrest came out and proved that story was, unsurprisingly, not true).

Wow this is all very complicated and confusing, the more I hear about it.

How / why did Lionsguard buy the copyright to his channel logo? Also how is it even possible for anyone to copyright such a generic image? I had heard the idea of Alienware computers company, possibly challenging his logo, but even that seemed absurd because the alien drawing is such a generic image.

But anyway so they bought his logo and then copyright-challenged all his videos?

This is all so bizarre... But even in that case, he did publish a few newer vids without his old logo. So it would seem that those could have stayed up regardless of logo problems...

I did see his DUI arrest video but I wasn't automatically assuming too badly of him, just for catching a DUI...

I hope he's getting better and I hope he becomes active again on YT in the future...

From what I understand, Tyler's channel logo was created by an artist and Tyler (with or without permission) took that logo and used it as his own for his channel and his line of merchandise. Lionsguard was able to track down the artist who designed the logo, told them that Secureteam was using it for profit, the artist basically said "I don't care" and so Lionsguard purchased the rights to the image from the artist so that he could use it against Tyler as sort of blackmail (I own the copyright to your channel logo that you also use on all your merch now, so do what I say or I'll copyright claim all your videos and sue you) to get him to admit he hoaxed some stuff and be a better person or...something. It's all really weird. Lionsguard comes off as being completely obsessed and borderline stalkerish and it's just creepy. I can understand wanting to expose someone's misdeeds so that their fanbase won't just keep blindly throwing money at them, but the way he is/was going about it doesn't make him look anymore sane than anyone involved in the whole drama.

I actually used to be a fan of Tyler. I don't really get into UFO channels because I know 99% of them are absolute garbage, over-sensationalized and nothing but CGi with terrible music added over the video. But I really liked Tyler's approach. I liked how (despite what most critics claim) he usually just presented an interesting clip and let the viewer make up their mind on it. I liked how he actually did call out other channels for posting blatant CGI/hoax videos and how he would expose some UFO videos that were going viral as being hoaxes. It just made him feel like he had a level of credibility above all the other channels. And his really chill attitude and soft spoken reporting made his videos an enjoyable watch for me before I went to bed. Just a nice little thing to unwind to. I started losing respect for him when he started claiming that government people were parked outside his house watching him and trying to play it up like the government was after him for EXPOSING THE TRUTH!111 even though there's like a million other people on youtube posting the same videos and the government isn't after them. Then I lost the last bit of respect I had when he kept going on months long haituses without posting videos, only to come back 3 months later, apologize and blame his absence on a family death, drop a 10 minute video (10 minutes for that ad rev) that you could tell he had put no effort into, then promise he was back to regular programming, only to disappear again for months and then return again claiming another family death or some other BS excuse. All the while he kept taking patreon money from his naive fans even though he wasn't making any content for them anymore.

Sometimes it's interesting (sometimes VERY interesting) and other times is clearly a bird / some fake footage / whatnot, but I don't subscribe to calling SecureTeam10 a hoax channel. ATS can do as it wills of course, it's their lawn, their rules. I'm just glad Tyler's posting vids again -.-

As for his drama and excuses, I don't honestly give a damn. It's his own life. He don't owe me any explanations. He don't owe me posting videos. I'm just happy when he does. Also I've read so many tweets and posts about Patron. Give it a break. He did not force anyone to keep patronizing him. How people waste their money is solely their business, tyvm.
