Imagine this for a min if you will. Imagine a world with no religion, how would this video play out then.

1. There wouldn't be a group of people kneeling on a busy street.

2. People would just be walking down the street minding their own business.

3. No violence would have taken place.

4. This post would have never been made.

What's the root cause here? Religion.

Remove the root cause and nothing would have happened, now take that same logic and apply a thick layer ALL over the world. How many violent problems would disappear? How many wars would end? How much hate would go away?

Religions are not the root, they are just the very first tool used in a rather large toolkit....good luck getting rid of them, apparently you think they just appeared and are not completely made sure they CANNOT DIE by some very powerful characters.

I have often heard him say, "Jesus tells us, if we are struck on our right cheek, as in being offended, we should turn our left. Of course, if a man then strikes my left cheek, he had better be 'prayed-up or a track star' because I have run out of instructions."

Maybe this guy felt the same way, and figured it was "pay-back time".

Considering I did not see the man who got knocked out strike any cheek I think that analogy is a poor one.

LoL you are the one who made the poor analogy,

So I'm assuming here that the people who supported this guys assault would have been just as happy if it was a bunch of muslims praying and a christian so rudely disturbed them then got knocked out?

I don't even know how we can tell that guy is a muslim... He's black, so that = muslim?

I think muslim was added to try and garner support for this attrocious assault that could have killed somebody! I am in no way a supporter of muslims (or any religion) but I'm also not a supporter of unprovoked attacks!

Threads like this are proof that ATS has gone to the dogs.

I struggle to believe what I've read for these 18 pages.

I'd like to reverse the situation!

Group of Muslims praying and then a Christian walks up behind them and does, well I don't know, nothing according to the footage...
And then a Muslim jumps up sucker punches him and keeps wayleighing him close to brain damage...

Would all of your reactions be the same?

It's doubtful isn't it.

I would wager that a full 50% of the people would be commending the Muslim for standing up to the evil disrespectful Christian for daring to interrupt a ceremony, and saying he deserved what he got,

What the frak is wrong with the ass-backwards people in this thread? The guy in the video wasn't blaring music, you can hardly hear it. You can sure hear the sound of fist connecting with head, though. Big fat hint that the music wasn't loud right there. He wasn't bothering anybody, he didn't get in anyone's face about anything. This is just disgusting sidewalk violence, with an equally disgusting messenger (OP) being far more so for supporting an unjustified & unwarranted attack on a random passersby while playing the "innocent Christian" card

Ats has become a place where imbeciles can write whatever the hell they want, encourage violence, spread lies hate and propaganda without any consequences.

This thread is the latest greatest # of the day that proves my point.

A) no one knows if the victim is a muslim

B) you can't see him interrupting nor hear loud music

yet the title of the thread is "Entitled muslim interrupts catholic prayer...GETS BRUTAL RESPONSE"

Should just be moved to hoax bin, but I won't hold my breath.

Could be that management is in agreement with the view posted by the OP hence why it is not either the hoax bin or the LOL forum.......

In other words the muslim deserved it. I bet you had things been the other way around there would be beheadings. Because Muslims do tend to behead people in Islam for interrupting prayers.

PS: Catholicism is NOT Christianity. They are Oil and Water. Just saying

Do you take that as a commandment that all Christians should follow?

"Do not do unto others as ye would not do unto thyself. "

In other words, if you shoot heroin, go ahead and shoot up others with heroin! Love the way you turned the "Golden Rule" into a negative that disavows personal integrity!

I would hope the management don't agree with the OPs view and description after watching the video or I am on the wrong site

In my original comment here I asked if there was any other videos of this incident as the clip included did not match the details given In any way

If any other clips showed this individual who was assaulted in this recording harassing this group I could understand this outcome shown in the capture we have all seen

Trouble is as of now there are no other videos and all I see is an unjustified assault

There is no way anyone after watching this clip can justify the actions seen

This thread has yet again turned into another despicable Muslim bashing one with the usual Christian bashing and religion on whole bashing thrown in to try and balance wrong actions

The Christians I know are not judgmental and show compassion for all, that also replies for Muslims I know as well

The image we saw doesn't show real Christianity at work

I wouldn't be surprised if the individual attached was an illegal migrant so there isn't a chance he will go to the police, that's one of the reasons low life thugs beat them up as they know they will get away free from the law

Yes, the sword is called truth. It comes to divide Babylon. The sword is part of the Armor of God.

Its called You reap what you sow.

If you hit someone, expect to see the consequences of your own action. If people don't take personal responsibility they deserve what they get.

It is also called Cause & effect and its actually the true nature of this universe.

If you block my way, expect me to trample you to the ground. It is your fault for standing in my way because you are in fact trespassing into my experience. Treat me with respect however, then I treat you with respect.

Is Self Defense a Crime?

Certainly not.

It doesn't matter, the message still applies. Be it Muslim, Christian, Catholic, if you tress pass into another will Expect consequences. That is the reality of the life we live in. The villain are those who impose themselves on others. They deserve what they get.

Cruelty begets cruelty.

People simply don't understand, that bad things happen to them because of their own actions. And this is where people fail horribly at taking personal responsibility.

However I was also responding to the Freemasons comment which was a cheap shot against Christians.

Still, I dare any of you to take a cam recorder, go into a mosque and interrupt a prayer. See how that turns out. It wont be one guy like the video. It will be a mob. My statement on muslims still remain true in that sense.

For the umpteenth million time the thread title was copy and pasted directly from the article so shut your mouth and stop with the direct insults calling people imbeciles. Even in this response I have not directly insulted you so I would ask the same courtesy. The article said he was muslim so I ran with that assuming that someone involved with writing it at some point received notice that the "victim" in question is Muslim. I wish we could have this conversation in person so I could see how mouthy you would be face to face.

Does the sword also sucker punch Babylonian citizens in the face?

I'll see your "Amour of God" video, and raise you one Bible Man, Armour of God" video!

No. It's called the Golden Rule.

"Do unto other what you would "have" (in other words "want") other do unto you."

The law of reciprocity, (which applies in EVERY culture on the face of the earth), simply explains that that when someone gives you something you feel an obligation to give back. Giving and receiving favors is a common exchange and is an implicit assumption in most of our relationships.

Also, there's that other famous law, the one that Jesus of Nazareth, if he existed, succumbed to; "No good deed goes unpunished".

No good deed goes unpunished. Beneficial actions often go unappreciated or are met with outright hostility. If they are appreciated, they often lead to additional requests.

As far as "reaping what you sew", which implies Karma in a spiritual sense, and common sense in a physical reality, you will always harvest what you plant.

A lot of people use this law to condemn victims, saying that they must deserve abuse because they MUST have "bad karma". I guess according to you and your "You always reap what you sew" scenario, Jesus deserved to be humiliated, tortured and crucified, if he existed.

So you don't like me for posting this good for you, it must really burn you up that there is nothing you can do about it other than whine incessantly to no effect. Not everyone has a soft and weak mentality like yours, sometimes violence solves issues where words cannot. It has been said by others in comment sections that the guy who got hit was following the prayer group and been harassing them for quite awhile before being put in his place. I'm willing to bet that you missed that though because you are too lazy to read through the entire thread. You saw the OP and decided to jump on the SJW train and come in here hurling insults. So with all due respect you can piss off and shut up.

So i guess that leaves out people who think a guy rose from the dead and ascended to heaven in a beam of light or is that somehow more rational then a winged horse?

Oh no - I'm equally against Christianity. Well, all religion. But, as the topic had drifted to Islam (as it always does) I commented on that aspect of it.

We have two choices: start the holy war or bring the moderates to the table and help promote that ideology the same way the crazy ass christians had to have a come to jesus in Luthers time.

By that suggestion, we have only war or supplicate ourselves to their stupid religion. I prefer war. I will never submit to delusional fantasies as a way of life.

Or ignore it and let society crumble and have bombs going off and crazy religious fanatics create a society of fear and violence.

I don't think it would be that extreme. I believe the normal, everyday religious delusional has no ill wishes on people. As you say, it's really only the fanatics. So, I think when it came to it, those normal people would stand up and fight on the side of freedom.

Personally I wish to buy an island where religion is banned and live there in peace let the fanatics kill each other and come back when they are gone.

Personally, I'd love aliens to land and say, "Hi Earth. Guess what? There is no God. There is no heaven, there is no hell. There is only the here and now. The universe is a horribly cruel, harsh and unfair place and we're all incredibly lucky to be alive at all. All we have in this universe is each other - let's remember that".

Doubt it'd work. The fanatics would still try to Allan Snackbar them, the skeptics like me would argue they were CGI and the ME believers would forget they ever existed...

Im not implying Karma, im stating it as fact. You don't understand Universal Law. It all ties in with the ten commandments, cause & effect and Karma.

Cause & effect, for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. It is all one single Law.

Dont want Violence? Dont do Violence
Dont want someone to steal your things? Then dont steal

It is about personal responsibility.

The world is a crappy place because people try to justify their wrong doings. Then they whine when they get the results of their actions.

The Law is not just a written law, it is a Living law, to which neither you nor me can control. It is beyond Human control and it manifests even within a Human being in forms of Justice. That is why Karma is a reality. The ten commandments are not exactly commandments either. They are a guide and a warning.

Do this and that will happen.
Obey this and that will happen.

Touch the hot stove, expect to be burned.
