That was a real farmer's left handed crack, should have tucked his elbow in and fired it off like a piston as he turned into the to add more force to the punch, mind you that guy who took the blow did not stand up well even to that and probably would have just splattered if he had been punched correctly with the true force that guy has locked up in his compact build.

Still a damn good wack though, I share there feeling for that elderly priest and there anger over it, it is a feeling that the majority of the French do have I believe.

I actually kind of enjoyed that and I am a man whom does not like violence except as a last resort (or when used constructively as in this occurrence and to explain that this offender was disrespecting the feeling's and culture of most of France - and europe - and so he was actually attacking France in his own way so stopping this kind of disrespect AND stopping this prevalent thinking that the people of France and Europe are stupid and that they can come here and do whatever they want WAS and IS a constructive use of force, it sound's but but if you don't strike back then you lose to the one's that strike first which is THEM).

The best used to be the Bare knuckle Irish street fighters of a couple of generation's back, they used to fight for a few quid kind of like open air impromptu bare knuckle boxing matches.

Now when you would see a guy spitting in his palm and then rubbing his other fist into it that was supposed to make skin over the knuckles a little more supple and help to stop the skin tearing off, I doubt it work's but there must be something in it.

My Great Grandfather on my mother's - mother's side was an Irish catholic Doyle whom married an Irish Protestant (my great great grand mother whom also was of maternal Jewish extraction, her father was one James Kerney a wealthy Protestant owner of several fishing boats and quite a bit of land), she was of course disowned by her father and he left it to the government instead but her husband was a hard working and honest man whom ended up working his way up to foreman on the old overhead railway in Liverpool which the later New York overhead railway was inspired by (they had to leave Ireland crossing that religious boundary was a no no for those clannish people back then), one day he heard a group of men arguing in the street in broad daylight and enraged at the language in front of his wife and child he lost his temper, never hit anyone just saw red like this french guy did and put his fist clean through a brick wall knocking a neat hole in it, no broken bone's or even a scratch - they used to make them tough and honest back then.

It is actually nice to see the French still have there spirit.

Let's try reversing the situation, what if the scenario was switched where the victim was Christian and the attacker was Muslim. Would those who are defending this feel the same way, that the Christian was a POS who deserved it? Or would you defend the victim?

It's hard to tell in the video if the guy said anything to the person praying.

He got a little close. But other than that I see no reason for the guy get up and go Beast Mode on him.

They prayed quietly as people drove and walked by… they disturbed no one with their prayers to God. I thought is was a wonderful testament to faith and devotion, while grieving for a priest. It was a very Christian display of love and reverence. The worshipers were peacefully protesting the closing of the Association of Catholic and Apostolic Chapels.

From the video, I'd say the Christian was the "hate monger" here.

That video doesn't show much. I suspect there was more to it than just that. The guy that smacked him down seemed to be looking in his direction more than once prior to the punch. It is possible that wasn't the first fly by the muslim guy did during that prayer session. We might have seen just the last straw, so to speak.

The guy got clocked. Eh. Whatever. At least he wasn't burned alive, or boiled alive in tar, or beheaded, or stoned to death, or pushed off a rooftop, or....

On the greater scale of violence, this was pretty tame.

I disagree. I see no reason why a modern, democratic, secular society needs to cater, adopt or pander to a religion of violence, or else fear what may happen if they do not.

If the wind was blowing the wong way you would never pick it up. The compression on YT would squash it too, background noise closer to the phone would be picked up better.

Frequencies involved, direction of the phones speaker, reverberation, all this combines to picking up a #y speaker on a #y mic.
