1. A post was basically calling Bernie a hypocrite for running as a socialist and then buying 3 houses.
2. I responded that socialism allows for personal property including homes, then quoted a link that says socialism allows "Two kinds of property:
Personal property,
such as houses, clothing, etc. owned by the individual. Public property includes factories, and means of production owned by
the State but with worker control. Public property includes factories, and means of production owned by the State but with worker control."
Honestly, I'm not even sure how your post fits in this because the conversation isn't about the perceived powers, abuses, or limits of a socialist
govt. It's about whether or not Bernie is a hypocrite for claiming to be a socialist while buying a 3rd house.
So tell me, do you think Bernie is being a hypocrite for running as a socialist while buying a $600,000 house? If so, then I suggest you read that
link in my other post, because socialism clearly and undeniably allows for personal property, including home ownership. And that's what my post was
about.
Now, if you think he's a hypocrite for railing against the top 1% while buying a house that usually only the top 1% can afford, that's another thing
altogether. And if you think socialist governments do a, b, and, c, well you can have that talk w/someone else. I realized a while ago that a lot of
you don't want to have a real discussion about socialism, Marxism, and/or the different forms of communism, so I won't waste my time on it.
