I have FINALLY solved the issue on how to stay alive during a police encounter!

No...if the cop wouldn't have murdered him he'd still be alive. None of his actions warranted his death. It's ignorance like yours that perpetuates the problem we have with police...which is cold blooded murder of innocent civilians

Wrong if he had stayed in his vehicle instead of take off running hed still be alive. Running from the officer after getting pulled over is stupid. Then he gets caught and bits the officer. And of course takes off running again. The officer should not have shot him however his actions create the events that occurred . Ifhe sat his butt inthe car and waited for him to finnish writing a ticket the police officer wouldnt have had to decide to draw his gun. Yes the police officer was wrong in choosing to shoot. But the series of events occurred because he decided to take off running. Tthis is why the jury couldnt convict him for murder.

Now to your original post if he hadnt ran but instead handled a traffic stop like normal people do by following a couple of simple rules. One stay seated keeping your hands in view. Provide information needed and sit and wait for the officer to write ticket. This is why theres thousands of stops daily and no one gets shot. So you trying to use this as an example of normal behavior by police is wrong and people like you are going to get people killed.

4 .4 percent of the world's population and 22 percent of the world's incarcerated. We have places that depend on income generated by tickets and for profit prisons in the United States. This is not the land of the free and police are not there to serve and protect anyone but the law.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying until all of the stupid fall out.
First you try putting a target on your back and walk around outside for a few days. Let's see how well you do. Second cops are just people doing a job. That job is to protect the honest people out there. Third when a cop pulls you over more often than not you can get away with just a warning. How you respond is what makes the difference between getting a ticket and not getting a ticket. Fourth they have no idea who you are or what you might be thinking about doing. They have families waiting at home just like you, and have just as much of a right to return home after work. They know you the way you know them. Try to keep that in mind the next time you say something stupid like I wasn't going to hit you. Finally the only ones who get shot gave someone a reason to draw a gun in the first place. All this crap about cops kill black people is nothing more than the latest version of you only pulled me over because BS. Just because you don't see a gun on the ground after the fact does not mean they didn't have one. It also does not mean that they did. It means ONLY that you didn't see it nothing more nothing less. If some guy takes off at high speed running from the cop car, crashes then runs down a dark alley cops have every reason to believe that this person is a threat, to them as well as the rest of us. It's their job to run down that alley after them. You get to run the other way. If a cop is after someone who is a danger to decent people and he's not stopped who knows what might happen. They might have to shoot the guy, but how many people has that guy killed? Or might kill in the future?

Oh yeah and while on the subject I have a question. If black lives matter so damn much why is it that like 90% of black people are killed by other black people? (No that's not an actual number stupid)

Also being white helps... And bowing down to anyone with a badge who asks to see your papers. I don't know how many people who have been killed for acting the way I do in front of police. Like scratching your leg on the way to the cop car, smoking a cigarette while they're talking to you... Both got me assault/resist charges. I didn't struggle, nor run either time and the pigs knew it. But I did talk mad #... Like asking if they had a warrant to search... Never question pigs... I'm lucky to be alive today. Slaves obey your masters, like the christian god Paul says and everything will be ok. 😚

Obviously you know very many black people,nor seen the obvious racism(I believe is more fear/ego traps from insecure pigs...) But yeah right, everyone who's ever been shot by the pigs deserves it... 🙄. How often is their lives in actual danger enough to question what this "unpredictable" person is thinking of doing? Why aren't they trained to read body language/tones instead of looking at everyone as the enemy? You straight CIA but work for free.

He was drunk and the abuse was over kill..

Buy now when cops are involved he puts his hands around his head in a defensive position because he is afraid of being hit.

I'm from n.y.. so when whites kids came into city neighborhoods to buy weed, often they were robbed and assaulted...many left out cold on the street.

And when you go tell a police officer, you are mocked, laughed at, told what are you doing in this neighborhood.

So police themselves have shown they are not always there to help.

You're making a fallacy known as the "appeal to the infinite goal post"

If you set 0% probability of ANYTHING AT ALL happening, as your goal post, you will encounter failure in a society of 300 million people.

What happened to her has about the same probability as being struck by lightning, or being aboard an airplane that crashes.

She was simply a victim of bad luck. (And a type of bad luck that can befall white people too. Usually poor white people rather than rich white people, though.)

LEOs, and people that want to be LEOs, have a mental issue to begin with. They suffer from some sort of a, Little Something Syndrome and a need to "feel", How big it should be, or how little?.. Apparently, it is something only they can define, for themselves.

I come from a long line of LEOs and people that have actually "served" this country. The LEO cousins, talk about how they, "just want to make it home at night" at the "end of their shift". For them? Every night is a firefight, to just make it/get home!

Those of us that "have actually served" and weren't just a revenue collection agent. Just look at them and smile. But we don't say sh*t. Just validate their feelings and give hugs.

You're conflating morality and common sense.

If a person climbs on top of an airplane while it is flying, with no parachute, and decides to start break dancing while the plane is flying, and somewhere in the dance they slip and fall off the airplane, and the fall kills them....

That isn't a case of a person morally deserving to die. It is a case of their lack of common sense having caused their death.


The overwhelming majority of "death by police" incidents, are people who foolishly went looking for danger, and found it.

It seems like american cops are maniacs with anger issues - I would be scared to death of them if I had to live in that particular country. Sorry, should have I said 'this country', as the americans always do?

In any case, as the old advice goes, the best thing to do first when encountering peace officers, is to:

1) Show a peaceful gesture with your hands open so they can see they're empty and you're not threatening
2) Wish them peace (God's peace, Creator's peace, whatever you want to wish)
3) Tell them you are a pacifist and don't believe in violence
4) Use a friendly and peaceful tone of voice

Especially american cops seem to really be 'on the edge', they're about 90% 'ready' when they encounter someone, so doing all this will lower that tension somewhat, maybe all the way to 20% or so, who knows. Well, this is just hypothetical, but I think it fits common sense.

At least they can't accuse you of breaching the peace, when you actually create it in the beginning.

I wish police were still peace officers, and not policy enforcers.
