Combat vets who hate bullies enough to attack anyone who tries that in our country again.
I think we will see an Islamic purge of the government (Fired from their jobs, not shot)and he'll make his own choices based on the best outcome.
I want all the a military personnel reviewed for reinstatement and the current batch in favor of T.V. troops and women in combat units to be gone.
COMMANDS will just have to develop a more cognizant rank structure, rather than put all women at risk so a few achieve their ideals.
BACK to the gold standard ,WE just don't have time for it all.

So when you say "us" you mean our US Veterans. Okay.

... and then you lose me completely. An "Islamic purge" of the Government?

So, you're saying that you're okay with Americans being fired because of their religion?

Have I asked you to agree? Do you think I'm trying to prove something to you or the rest of the TTB?

I'm not.

Out of curiosity and decorum, however ... why don't you give me your definition of "fascism"?

I'd give you mine, but that would be pointless. So, tell me what a fascist is, and I'll show you how Mr. Trump either meets or exceeds that definition.

I view fascism, at it's core, as a form of govt that centralises power into the hands of the few (or one) - way beyond oligarchy - and removes opposition, controls and challenge, The use of that authoritarian power can be varied, but it is unrestricted.

This is about Mr. Trump, his speech, and the adoration we called the Republican National Convention.

Should we try to stay on that topic?

Trump has no clue, no clue on ANY issue. In fact, I don't think he has a clue if he is a democrat or republican.

He just says things...ANYTHING...to get votes in order to win at this game.

Well, I found and read his speech and it really is like some have said that it is like he is running for classroom president.

IMO it is always best to read a speech minus the emotion and hand-waving or body language to get to the core.

Most of what he claimed he would do isn't possible to accomplish as a president. If he was an emperor that would be a different story.

Basically, his speech left me with more questions than answers.

Yes, that's my method.

I read through it (not studied it). Definitely pandering to his base, but I guess that's what you do at the conventions.

What happens when he tells China what to do and they say NO!

I don't know if "negotiations" is really something Trump does.

One question at a time. How is he going to accomplish this? Marshall Law?

The crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon — and I mean very soon come to an end. Beginning on January 20th 2017, safety will be restored.

You just asked what in my view is THE important question. Trump made a lot of promises last night and I am not sure he can achieve them all. I don't think he needs to provide detailed plans - but I'd at least like to see some form of summary to show the progams that will be defunded and the ones that will be funded.

I think about the inner city shootings. Reminds me of the prohibition days. Except today is mostly drugs.

Probably everyone in the neighborhood knows what goes on, but you try to stay out of the way and keep your mouth shut.

"Gansters" own the neighborhoods. I'd guess most of those shootings are "business" related.

But, like countries in South America the "Gansters" are expanding out of their neighborhoods, spreading into the suburbs and cities. (and government, of course).

I worked with a guy from El Salvador. His family there had to store food and other survival stuff near the floor for access, so they could lay prone on the floor when the shooting started. Sometimes the shooting would continue for days. This could happen here. Actually, I think it is happening.

Its not an immigration problem.

So, of course, the bottom line is money. What's Trump gonna do? Stop the drug flow? Succeed where no one else has?

Short of Marshal Law and tanks in problem neighborhoods (like during the Watt's riots), I don't think he has a clue.

I don't know whether he has a clue on the 'how'. But you say that 'probably everyone in the neighbourhood knows what goes on'. That could be a good place to start. I also think stopping the flow of drugs will have an effect... can he do it? Others have failed, but how hard have they really tried?

I expect it and at this time in history we have no choice .
EVERY president does this more or less.
We have a targeting issue that must be addressed ,not to do so would be naive in the extreme.
Until this wave of terror is stopped that is what will happen.
NOTHING will be as it was when this happens, they will get more violent.

First the muslims, then other non-christian groups, like mormons, then fire Democrats as they do not agree with Emperor Trump, then fire.......

HANG on ,are you enjoying THIS CURRENT POLICY?

Like I've said, I don't really discuss my own political beliefs.

I'm more of a "Take no prisoners, you're either part of the solution or you're part of the problem".

BUT, being responsible for 324,264,524 people requires a bit more finesse.

Current Policy? Depends on who/what you read. Following actual facts I don't really have a problem.

Can you be more specific?

People say Hillary will out-debate Trump when the time comes.

Hillary knows policy, Trump doesn't.

Serious minded people what to hear policy.

Emotional people just want to be fired up.

If the president was chosen by a team of political scholars - - - I don't think Trump would have a chance.

Public voters? Who knows.

And the country as we know it now (security threats, millions of unemployed people, the economy in general, etc.) is playing on people's emotions. People are tired of policies which haven't done squat for them over the past eight years. This scenario benefits Trump.

Armored cars or carriers aren't M60 main battle tanks,by any stretch.
Nowadays it be a Marine MARSOC job, house to house until they broke the gangs backs. THEY aren't as hard to fight say in Feliucia,Collaterals from loyal people will be ugly, it would start with a zone black out ,probably being mapped by JSOC for JADE HELM.
Cops would be looking for runners leaving town, the Army can't operate against US citizens ,by law and they can't be trusted to complete the mission anyway.
It is not something I think anyone wants to happen ever.

It isn't working it's an underhanded ,lie, micro managed from the White house, maybe?
It has left too many collateral damage due to the fact the Dems/Left like electronic information rather than HUMAN information so they ignore intelligence reports in favor of their own,and it's biting them in the butt.

Well when the Feds went after the Prohibitionists - - - pushed them to go legit.

Las Vegas cracks me up. Mormon's run the banks - - "former" mafia runs the casinos. Match made in Heaven (all 3 of them).

What specific policies did Obama outline eight years ago? His whole campaign was based on a repeated 'Hope and Change' mantra, without details. Being a community organizer without any previous foreign policy experience, he still got elected. He was far from being a policy wonk. My point is, specifics mean nothing to the John Q. Public voter. Most people have short attention spans and don't understand policy specifics anyway. Just playing on people's emotions is all it takes.

a question to Hillary supporters;

which of the specific federal laws did Hillary Clinton break while using her unclassified server in her home to store and send classified emails?

That is a much more important question to most people than questions about policy.... talking about policy choices of a candidate who should have dropped out months ago is pointless.

GO Trump!

The mere fact that Hillary was selected as your only choice for a democratic nominee months before the campaigns ever started should scare the average American to death...

The sheeple are in a deep deep slumber.

CNN did a poll on the reaction of their viewers to trump's speech.... 75% of their polled viewers reacted positively to Donald Trumps speech, saying they believed it put the country on the right track.

A whopping 57% gave the top response of 'very positive'.

"Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You"

Blame, blame, blame, blame

Americans waste more then other countries might see in a year.

What is your solution? Complaints require solution.

One of my solutions for education: local National Guard/police have schools where kids that disrupt other kids from learning can go.

Self expression? Stifling self expression? Not at the expense of my child who wants to learn.
