What's the source for this again?

Was it 73% or 75% or 78%?

Someone's confused.

No you are.

75% positive
73% right direction

Read the links.
I think desperation is coming from you n this.
Your countrymen have spoken.

Okay. Where's the screenshot for 75% positive?

The only desperation here is a bit of Photoshop at best ... apparently.

Photoshop? - ... and you say you are not desperate. I seriously don't know why you have to be in such denial about the speech.. Trump had a great and well received speech. It doesn't mean he has won the election! For goodness sake get over it.

Where's the screenshot for the 75% claim UK?

Where? What source do you or anyone else have for it? Besides a supposed text message to a Breitbart employee, cited in their article that I cited above.

Where? Where is the screenshot?

I am going to keep playing this game because you are recording your own stubbornness to accept the truth.

58% very positive + 17% somewhat positive = headline of 75% positive.

You knew that. I know that. Everyone reading the thread knows it.

That someone is you.

What's the source of the screenshot, UnBreakable?

I'm not confused at all?

Who looked at the screen wrong? You or Breitbart? LOL.

58% very positive
17% somewhat postive

screenshot and linked twice

58+17=75

Keep going.

Now you're back to "the big lie."

I quoted from the speech and quoted from Trump's documented comments. Easy to see above.

Now, where's the screenshot for the 75% claim?

you sure sound like the desperate one to me, trying to discredit a percentage point here and there. When you stop worrying about the specific number, maybe you realize a majority voted favorably for the speech in the polls, and that's really all there is to it. you want to fill up pages focused on a specific number, maybe in the hopes you can discourage some people, I don't know. Really cannot deny though the majority results reflect a favorable and well received speech.

That's nothing, again, but a rehash of the claims of the Breitbart article. Almost to the word.

Where is the screenshot proving the claim that 75% thought that the address was positive?

We have a "screenshot" claiming 73% ... to a different question (uncited of course).

Are you guys really this desperate?

Well, you see 57% very positive + 18% somewhat positive = 75% total positive. 1st grade math is your friend. Talk about desperate.

Thanks. That's my point.

(Does it occur to you to ask about the missing 1% in your screenshot?, Is that in honor of Mr. Trump?)

You know my deeper reaction to this, without getting into bickering is that I rather suspect more Republicans watched the convention and therefore it is not representative of the US population and would need to be weighted to get a proper read.
Probably better to question that if you really want to fight it as opposed to being stubborn about it. Just a thought.

That screenshot is from Brian Stelter's twitter feed, a CNN employee. Not Breitbart.

twitter.com...

57% very positive + 18% somewhat positive = 75% positive. Basic math.

Are you really this much in denial?

Um, no photoshop. Two different polls. One is polling positive response at 75%, the other one shows poll question of right direction of 73%.

58% very positve

58+17=75.

Headlines in, now, several media sources referring to 75%...i.e. quite legitimately consolidating the two numbers.

"Somewhat" positive, would that also be "somewhat" negative? I.e. conflicted, bemused, apathetic, etc.

Yeah, I'm the "desperate" one here.

Well, given your post here, you certainly sound desperate.
Wouldn't it be a LITTLE more reasonable to assume that the somewhat negatives are in the negative numbers? Or they didn't have it as an option?
i can;t remember the last time I said I was positive when in fact I was negative about something.

I'm desperate because I asked for facts? I'm desperate because I take things as they are stated, not as you (or Breitbart, or a UK copy-cat) want them to be?

Fine. 75% of those watching the Trump speech kinda-sorta liked it in a CNN "instant" poll.

How many samples was that? How many people?

You want to compare that to the Gallup polls for Obama? LOL. Okay, do it. Compare the two polls.

Also ... before you waste our time ... weren't you explaining to me just the other day that polls don't' mean anything?

Suddenly, now, they do?

Yeah ... I'm the "desperate" one here.
