Yes I just said this in my post. If this happened in the US, this jerk would be on CNN calling for a ban on trucks.

Strategic bombings are obviously not helping..time for some good old fashioned boots on the ground ass kicking

And which of the countries would you begin with and what manpower is required? Obviously a bigger task than you suggest...

Easy, start from one end and keep going.

Doesn't matter, but probably pushing them into the Med or Atlantic or Indian ocean would be a good thing.

There is an old Latin proverb...fits here perfectly...and could potentially prevent future attacks. It requires very little new law making...

Nomen est omen.

We need to ban trucks or atleast make sure they're registered. Australia banned trucks 20 years ago and noone there has driven into a crowd since. We need comprehensive truck cruise controls, our current cruise controls aren't working.

what the skunk are you smoking ???
Plenty trucks still keeping this big wide island ticking along, i can assure you .
** heads up to international citizens not living in Australia........Summer Bay & Ramsay St. are only film sets to shoot pi*s poor aussie soap operas. **

Come now, I do think you have to acknowledge the serious truck problem we face. Don't bury your head in the sand. This problem just emphasises that we need self driving trucks and cars and a smart system for the govt to control speeds and where/when we drive.

When will people realize that attacks like these are nothing but recruiting drives??

The people organizing them WANT a blanket reaction of hatred towards Muslims because it is the best way they can draw otherwise peaceful Muslims into their twisted cause.

Ya gotta be pretty sick when one of your group does something like this and you get mad at the blow back.

Right?

I mean, it didn't take much to get you to do the same thing.

So peaceful muslim my ass.

His neighbors said that he was a sullen loner, who didn't respond to greetings.

Bono is very friendly.

Of course that is what they said - he was a loner, mentally disturbed and NOT TIED TO ISIS IN ANY WAY. In fact he clearly had no problem with the West and this was not a terrorist attack.

Right?

Wrong.

Because once an entire group start getting persecuted for the actions of a minority inside them they will start to think the attacks were justified in the first place.

It will be much easier to radicalize Muslims who up until now have not got involved with the violence if they are being treated as is they are the people who have been causing the problems all along.

Mankind Divided

Jamie Johnson's documentary revealed how it is some of the few richest families who are responsible for the chaos on this planet.

A tactic to keep wealth and power in the family.

Osama Bin Laden's family are very rich people too.

Okay then, enough is enough, I will from now on refuse to use any muslim business or associate with any practicing muslims! Any muslim with half a brain and any soul at all will leave this evil group immediately.

Honestly, if it was up to me, I 'd say the hell with political correctness.

I don't care. I don't care if i hurt someone's feelings in order to keep everyone safe. It's easy to write in front of your PC in your room how wrong it is to label a whole group as terrorists or whatever else they say. I don't care.

How many more innocent people need to get killed in order for us to get our heads out of our...

Unfortunately, more attacks will happen...

I said this morning to my husband after reading about this attack, that we need to get tougher with islam and muslims [as in regulating, disallowing mosques etc] as an example I had to mention that ALL Germans were bombed during the war, even though they were neither participating, and often not agreeing with the Nazis. It hurt me to say this but I agree. After all how do you check a Nazi from a non Nazi? In the end it worked.

I don't know why muslims can't be held responsible for their fellow extremists, even if there are peaceful ones amongst them. Unless we have tougher rules about islam that include ALL muslims, the spread of hatred through mosques and families will continue. And if that doesn't work, then we'll have to notch it up by giving the death penalty [executed by women] to terrorists.

And before anyone reads into my posts that I want any muslims to come to harm [and some will just project this into my post], please read really carefully what I have written. I don't want to happen what happened to my Landsmen and women [where even innocent children died], I just want strict regulation of a religion [of sorts] and appropriate punishment for terrorists.

I would like to see the muslim community, led by mosque leaders, launch a community campaign to out and turn in radical extremists. A complete denunciation of all extremists beliefs and vilification and consequences for those that preach hate... I wonder will that ever happen? I won't hold my breath.

I am sorry but I have seen too much now, the entire muslim religion is evil, if it breeds this (and the many other horrific things we've seen) then I want no part of it or anyone that follows it...

About time people wake up now... Or are you going to wait until it is you and yours splattered across the street?

It bothers me when this sort of attack is used to justify increased military action on a wider stage. It makes one wonder if the event in Nice was more than it seems on the surface.

www.theguardian.com...

No groups have claimed responsibility for the attack on Thursday, but the French president, François Hollande, said it was “terrorist in nature” and would be met by a show of “real force and military action in Syria and Iraq”.

This reminds me of the Nazi approach to reprisals for various things, like the assassination of Heydrich, for example. Wipe out a completely innocent village. Keep in mind that the driver was not even Syrian or Iraqi. Hollande seems even more perverse than the Nazis from that point of view. His counter murders have no connection to the crime he wants to avenge.

Haha! Right, I need to stop living in denial! The real issue here isn't terrorism, it's truckism!
And my gun killed someone all by itself.
And my pen made typo's.
And my spoon made me fat.
And I didn't know the coffee was burning hot!
And milk does a body good.
And eating animals is the only source of complete protein.
And women shouldn't lift weights, ya know... because we have testosterone and will look like body builders.
And the FED prints money in the basement.
And UFO's don't exist, neither did dinosaurs, neither do ghosts.
My favorite band told me to hurt myself.
I MUST wear Nikes. Because they told me too.
I can only shop the perimeter of my grocery store, even though the bakery is also on the perimeter.
I must drink Bud Light, I must love the Patriots, I must have fun this summer and post about it frequently on Facebook!
Wolf Blitzer is the most intelligent man on Earth.

Sorry... I fell off the wagon for a few seconds
I got derailed, I was distracted by Pokémon Go. I am back now.

I think it's more simple than that. It was a terrorist attack on the west driven by the hateful ideology of Islam extremism.
