Of course I wish ksiezyc much good luck with the lady of his dreams!

I have only one idea for the ideal first date. You know I'm a dreamer! LOL

Since you live in the city...maybe plan something out in the country/forest.

Somewhere you've both never been. Some hiking to a magical place (that you located by searching beforehand) and then just enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the location and each other being together...no food no wine no crowds...just take each other in.

Really though the ideal date is being picked up in a 66 Tbird and getting on I40 with the music as loud as you can stand, doing 90 MPH all the way to Barstow...continue on to the beach and then let nature take it's course!

1.I have no car.
2.She's 16 her parents would never allow anything of that sort.

I like your ideas, but they are not possible as it currently stands
What about Central Park? Your idea is awesome though!

Well, I lived in New York, was married there once. I have never been to Central Park! Can you imagine???

I think it's a fine idea and some would LOVE to spend the day there with you.

I say, plan the day that way then! Do it!

It will be wonderful, I am sure! She'll love whatever you choose...you know why?

Because you took the time and effort to plan it!

Where did you live if you don't mind my asking. Wow it's legal to get married at 16? Thought it was 17 or 18.

Um, my friend and her brother said that she wants a nice guy to take her out on a nice date. According to him she thinks I'm a nice guy, but no there are no feelings. We aren't driving each other crazy lol.

Long story. At that time you could get married in NY at 16. I was from Northern Virginia (right outside DC) and it was not legal there. We had blood tests (he was 18 soon to be 19) and my parents came up and signed.

I lived in Suffolk County briefly and then moved to Newark.

Went to Lake George finally and that's where I settled and married. Was back in Florida within months! Couldn't stand the weather!

Oh good! I hope she wasnt 16...... Just kidding! My ex wife was just turned 17 when we met. I was 26. I was very young looking and young maturity wise as well. Her family approved of our relationship, and we married when she turned 18, first baby at 19.
