That's what I love about living here. My baggage is either 1) ignored or, 2) valued as an asset. And the ones who have issues with it just say so upfront which is great.

Oh, I already have! That's part of my baggage, actually

When I make it to the first date, obviously the guy is cool with that, but it's certainly not for everybody. But it's really really really for some others.

A great rule of thumb that seems to always work out is:

Your age, divided by two, plus seven. That number is as young as a person can go without it being creepy. So if you are 30, you shouldn't date younger than 22 according to that rule.

It cracked me up when I first heard it but it seems to be a pretty good rule, actually.

That would be 16. Well. 16.5 I think, but um. Close enough I'd say. My personal limit is my age minus 3.

Her. But neither of us are only into women so we also date men. So our baggage is that we are a queer couple of two women, one of whom is a transexual, and we have a daughter (hah!).

And, yeah, I love her. We're still crazy about each other and just want to be more. I normally don't bring it up in conversation but it's sort of on-topic in this case.

One thing that can be learned from polyamorous people is really good communication skills in relationships because, well, you need loads of it for things to work smoothly.
