You've never had a trans kid ask you when their penis would fall off so they could be the girl they knew they were. As I've said before, I know some transgender people personally, and their experiences with their parents. I've communicated with some of the parents. I know what they went through. I know what they did to try to stop it. Are you accusing them of lying?

Just as there are stories of REAL "Trans Children", there are also MANY stories of children trying on "Transgender" roles as a PHASE. Meaning, a temporary feeling or thought.

You cannot err on the side of AFFIRMATION with every child. That is my point. And this new wave of philosophy does exactly that. Seeking affirmation instead of caution or taking pause.

THAT....is dangerous and irresponsible. And this new crap of subjecting 99.7% of the other kids to conform to this by punishing pronouns is tyranny and a control mechanism pushed on the population by a very SMALL subset of the population , their Handlers, their special interest groups.

That's not Democracy or Freedom. That is Authoritarian and it's going to end in backlash.

I'm not a Doomsdayer that parents are going to try to direct their kids into an opposing Gender.

Kinda didn't happen during the accepting Gay years either. I don't know anyone who's tried to force their kid to be gay.

However, opening peoples/parents minds to something that does exists - - might keep them from trying to force their kid into a stereotype gender.

If our society becomes one where we conform to the whims and wishes, at every turn, to people who represent a small subset of our entire population, we are doomed. There's no reason to go on because we will fall apart.

While everyone should have equal Rights, demanding that the rest of us CATER to these subsets or sub 'cultures' is going to destroy the world. No species in the Animal Kingdom can thrive or progress by doing this.

I'm not saying to shut up and die off. I'm saying don't IMPEDE the REST OF US, or else it's not going to end well for all parties involved. As evidenced already

Gender non-conforming/gender variant is not having gender dysphoria. You've completely oversimplified things or are just getting them confused or simply stating opinions and thinking gender stereotypes and the social aspects of gender are what drive people to change sex. Change gender, yeah, many transgender people only have mild gender dysphoria and some don't even have it at all and social transition and possibly gender affirming things like HRT or facial feminization surgery or breast augmentation are enough to relieve discomfort. For others, this is only a small part of the overall picture and practically irrelevant to being the wrong sex.

Your previous post seems to indicate you think girls can't be or aren't as equally affected by gender dysphoria as boys. This is simply not the case nor do you recognize that even without a uterus and ovaries, a born male bodied person that has undergone sex reassignment surgery can have a normal, happy and rewarding sex life. Trust me, you are failing to account for the significance of that which is actually pretty huge.

I've been reading, studying and researching everything there is to know about this for at least 47 years or more. BatheInTheFountain, thank you for proving the consistency in my theory that at least one, if not several people bring up wanting to be a horse, TMNT, Jedi, tiger, etc. when they were kids. This indicates lack of knowledge or any real understanding of this subject at all. Thanks!

1) they get your 'seal of approval because they reinforce your argument and identity. Not because they have made cogent or well rounded points.

2) I used those certain analogies to argue an opposing view, that ALSO has merit, that not ALL children are in fact, "Trans", as they claim.

3) You can't ERR in the AFFIRMATIVE at every turn.

4) You have every Right to be who you are. And I have every Right to shelter kids from bowing to the correct USAGE OF PRONOUNS to please you and yours. (Roughly 0.3% of the entire population)

Well, I'm Agnostic. I cannot argue the point that Religion or Fundamentalism has a part in this.

To actually believe that a child intent on bullying another child will not find an alternative, more derogatory term to use is naive to the highest degree. All hormone blockers do is put the physical changes of puberty on hold for a few years.

And one of those physical changes, which is facilitated by estrogen/testosterone, is brain maturation. You're advocating delaying brain maturation, until such time that a child can make a mature decision, with an immature brain. It's unconscionable!
