The Enquirer is, and has always been, a CIA operation and a very useful one.

There are plenty more interesting connections between the enquirer and shady goings on.

Yall don't be surprised if Trump picks Cruz to be his vp.

It's all smoke and mirrors.

I'd go with Walker.

The media held back on Trump? Light hand? Seriously?
Parallel universe perhaps?

Glenn Beck has said the media will unload on Trump this summer, too.

I know, I thought he was nuts. Maybe sirlancelot is a Beck fan?

Well at least Beck hasn't gone and topped himself like he's been threatening too recently.

If he does:

1.) I've been saying it could have been the plan from the start - for the two to form an outsider ticket.

2.) I would not be surprised.

I hope that's not an accusation. Cruz was my #2 pick for POTUS. An extremely distant 2d ... but ahead of Trump.

I don't feel as though I have a dog in the fight.

No way. Trump doesn't go easy on those who cross him. Once you pull some sh*t with him you're done. Look how he treated Christie. If you challenge Trump and lose, your done. Begging only makes you weak in his eyes. You're better off licking your wounds elsewhere and moving on.

Cruz did not end his campaign, he suspended it. And there is a few differences.

The first is that as long as his campaign is suspended, any and all money that he would have to pay back, right now, is on hold, giving him time to do such.

But that is not why. The biggest thing here is to watch the rest of the Primary going on. If he can not make it to the required number of delegates, then at the convention it is going to be a brokered convention.

Now if it is a brokered convention, then it means that all of those who have suspended their campaigns, become the viable candidates and we could yet see Cruz as being the one of the contenders. So while yes he has suspended his campaign, right now until July hits, it is going to be an interesting show.

A lot of butt-hurt going on over there at The Blaze.

12 pages of boo hoo.

Beck said yesterday he'd spent over a hlf a million of his own money on trying to get Cruz into the winner's circle. Hell, there's a popular theory circulating that the amount Beck has lost on Cruz (both his own money in donations and expenses AND lost revenue from all of his recent electorial hiatuses his show has taken while he's cavorting about babbling about Trump supporters "not listening to their God" and other Mormanesque ramblings is the reason The Blaze just laid off 40 employees. Beck is financially ruining himself.

3 guesses....

1. Scott Walker
2. Jeb Bush (I doubt he'd play second fiddle)
3. L'il Marco

I like #1, he was my first choice for Prez from the beginning. But I don't see any of them taking the pick.

1) Jim Webb
2) Newt Gingrich
3) Mike Rowe - wildcard
4) Deez Nutz - just so I can type Trump/Nutz 2016

I stood up. I did. I had to stop myself from clapping. I should just start letting you in on every thread before I reply because you say it so much better than I do.

You're 100% right. And if any of the candidates would have grown a pair (even Fiorina... I'm equal opportunity) and told it like it is instead of pandering to anybody and everybody, they could have been standing where Trump is right now. That's it. That's all it took. Somebody to name it, shame it, and get it done. No flowery speeches, no ass kisses, no back room dickering around...

If the party is smart they'll fall in line with that. If not... I'll watch 'em crash and burn like I did so many of their prized pure breeds they put up for the nomination to begin with.

Not likely. Cruz isn't Trumps style at all. Trump is a charisma kind of guy. A big name and big player. Cruz is a cross between a lizard and a weasel that nobody likes. Trump wouldn't have him as a VP. There's no way. It would make Trump look bad and he'd never have that.

No one else has the bombast to do that and withstand the onslaught. Cruz has tried. He tried during the shutdown and he got crucified. He tries continually, but he doesn't have the bombast of Trump.

So it isn't exactly fair to say their weren't any who would say it. Some of the others have said it too. Carson came to attention for saying certain hard truths like they are. Christie has fired some off.

But they don't have the presence Trump has. I just wish he had a slightly more presidential package than he does and I wish he wasn't as vulgar as he plays.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that he said (Beck himself) he would need to be on suicide watch if Cruz lost tonight.

Their little twosome and their crazy talk is what cost Cruz the evangelical vote. Had they not done that, he would have had a much better chance.

If you go to the Blaze now you can wade through the saltwater oceans being wept even as we speak.

Well of course, you wouldn't like him. You are fairly left leaning. I wouldn't expect you to.

Wow, what happened to the contested convention Cruz had been threatening the past six months?

Cruz didn't threaten that the GOP did, does anyone actually voting for trump know how an election cycle works?

I don't think so...they seem to be the poorly educated folks...But Trump loves them just the same.

I know and hes said so, he loves the poorly educated, hes said that....

hes also called them lemmings, saying he could kill people in the streets and not lose support

And hes also stated how important it is to surround yourself with people who are less successful and more stupid than you...

He must be right, because his followers DONT get it.........

I saw that. I've never quite understood Beck's appeal to his followers ... and I'm quite familiar with his history. I know Alex Jones has a following too. LOL

I'm really interested in who got fired and what their jobs were. I kept my eyes peeled hoping to see it on the boards here. Did I miss it?

Personal to EmmanuelGoldstein: Sorry for being OT in your thread.

You're right but that has nothing to do with it. I'm not giving you my opinion of them. I don't have to like someone to understand who they are and what they're likely to do.

There is no way Trump will select anyone else who ran for office as his VP. It's not going to happen. They all attacked him brutally and he won't forgive that. They're done to him. That's how he operates. He's even said it himself in an interview. Once anyone crosses him he never forgets it and will never show them favor after that. They're done to him. It's like the old Italian gangster thing. Respect is a serious thing.

Not only that, but how would it look if he was to have a VP that's part of the Establishment??? People would think he's a fraud and he won't have people thinking that.
