Wow, what happened to the contested convention Cruz had been threatening the past six months?

Cruz didn't threaten that the GOP did, does anyone actually voting for trump know how an election cycle works?

I don't think so...they seem to be the poorly educated folks...But Trump loves them just the same.

I know and hes said so, he loves the poorly educated, hes said that....

hes also called them lemmings, saying he could kill people in the streets and not lose support

And hes also stated how important it is to surround yourself with people who are less successful and more stupid than you...

He must be right, because his followers DONT get it.........

He also said he loves the evangelicals, he loves Florida, he loves Nevada, he loves the second amendment, he loves Liberty University, he loves everybody in the very same speech, but you would know that if you had listened to Trump instead of the media.

We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people, and you know what I’m happy about? Because I’ve been saying it for a long time. 46% were the Hispanics—46%, No. 1 one with Hispanics. I’m really happy about that.

Exactly He says whatever he has to say, to whatever group, at any given moment, at any given time, even if it goes against something he said the day before......

Just to curry support and his supporters dont have the reasoning power to see through it.......

It Truly is amazing

The media held back on Trump? Light hand? Seriously?
Parallel universe perhaps?

Glenn Beck has said the media will unload on Trump this summer, too.

I know, I thought he was nuts. Maybe sirlancelot is a Beck fan?

Well at least Beck hasn't gone and topped himself like he's been threatening too recently.

Its funny I see people bashing Beck, and calling him crazy, yet they didnt start doing it till he went against Trump......

Apparently proving hes more sound of mind , AND conservative than Trump supporters......

Two faced of Trump supporters if you ask me, Sell outs Love Beck or Hate him, at least he had the courage to stand by his convictions while you Trump supporters turned your back on the constitution in favor of a Rich , Bigoted Demagogue lol

When your convictions lead you to ruin what then? PRIDE is a SIN and having convictions is almost prideful for beck.

If your convictions and principles lead you to RUIN then so BE IT, its better than selling out.......

id rather sit in ruin knowing i stood by what I believed then sell out.........

What the hell is wrong with you people? I use to believe you guys were conservative people based on principle, apparently I was wrong......

Youll throw your weight behind anyone who is "entertaining" enough, and will say the "right things" to you, rather than substance.......

sad day for True conservatives

To COnserve the rights i have in the constitution youre damn right ill set aside my principles. Im a constitutionalist id say.. Trump dont entertain me. I just liek someone who would tell the UN to eff off. Same thing i would do if i was president.

When you cant afford principles you learn to accept compromises.

Well, to be fair here. I'm not a Trump supporter and I've noticed Beck losing his mind pretty bad for a while now.

Sometimes I swear I can't tell if he's turned full Televangelist or what???

You don't have to be a Trump supporter to see that Glenn needs some time off and some quiet time fishing or something.

Perhaps so, I cant say either way, but one thing is for sure

hes more consistent, and has stronger conviction than Trump does........

You cant conserve the rights of the constitution and set aside your principles

That doesnt even make sense

Those that support Trump support policies and a man that doesnt give a DAMN about the constitution and has proven it with his policies!

You dont conserve the republic by following a demagogue, or abandoning principles in favor of cheap rhetoric from a man who is known for buying politicians......

Do you guys even LISTEN to yourselves?

When you cant afford principles you learn to accept compromises.

This doesnt even make sense, and proves how weak they must have been in the first place

A lot of butt-hurt going on over there at The Blaze.

12 pages of boo hoo.

Beck said yesterday he'd spent over a hlf a million of his own money on trying to get Cruz into the winner's circle. Hell, there's a popular theory circulating that the amount Beck has lost on Cruz (both his own money in donations and expenses AND lost revenue from all of his recent electorial hiatuses his show has taken while he's cavorting about babbling about Trump supporters "not listening to their God" and other Mormanesque ramblings is the reason The Blaze just laid off 40 employees. Beck is financially ruining himself.

That's insanity. I guess Beck and Cruz's father can go back to eating now. Maybe off the $1.00 menu, but eat nonetheless....

Ive been one of the most active Conservative members on this forum, the very fact that you ahve a hard time seeing where I stand tells me that you are in no way a conservative.......

You're standing too far to the left to see me... move a couple hundred steps right and you'll find me in the same spot I've always been standing.

While I really hate it when people play this card, I'm going to play it myself now because this opportunity is too great to pass on...

Do you know who I am? If I am "in no way a conservative," then what in the blue hell would you say I am? The liberals of the world consider me the devil, the libertarians call me a fascist, and now I have a neocon saying I am "in no way a conservative." Riiiiight....

The Trump supporters I know didn't sellout, they bought in. There's a world of difference. They actually shut their damned mouths and listened and they continued to listen to make sure the message wasn't changing. Once we realized the message was what the message was and wasn't lip service, we realized it also resonated with us. It didn't depend on fear mongering bullsnip about "denying your God" because we weren't supporting the anointed one, it didn't depend on bullsnip about whether or not our candidate was beating Hillary Clinton on Politico's poll, and it didn't depend on bullsnip about the candidate taking weak-ass potshots at another candidate then crying like a little girl when said candidate fired back in triplicate without missing a beat. It was because we listened and found that we agreed with the message. If you don't understand that, then watch out for the strings tied to your limbs... get tangled too badly in those and the marrionette may just toss you into a box to rot instead of going through the trouble of untangling you.

So I am who I am, and the pleasure of this delayed meeting is all yours.

I honestly think what happened to Beck involved the guys behind the curtain. They opted to give the guy enough rope.

After listening to him, reading a couple of his books, seeing who was promoted in the comments section of his webpage and who got banned ... I had a pretty good picture of him.

Beck's a smart guy. Way smarter'n me. But, even I can see he's more than a little off-center. His fan base is what keeps me interested. He's got a bunch of die-hard followers.

Just thought of this while I was typing. I'd have voted for Beck over ANY of the Republican candidates who showed up for the race. (shudder)

He's never hidden that he's had issues in the past. He's very open about it.

I don't listen much to Beck or cruise the Blaze often, but I had familiarity from before Obama. He was funnier before things started going over the deep end in the country.

I'm not reading thirteen pages of stuff. I'm happy for Bernie and Trump supporters alike in this moment.

I'm happy Cruz is out. I just want the old lady to sing now. She shouldn't feel entitled to screw the country to get back at her husband.

Do you not think 2 billion in free press is a light hand? How about the pres not calling Trump out on his waffle about the wall? Lastly there is a reason Trump wouldn't debate Cruz one on one! He is ill equipped to articulate much past "make america great again" and "its going to be great, fabulous, etc"

Clinton actually voted for a wall with mexico... As far as the Make America Great, it may be just a slogan, but if you dont start with some PMA then you arent going anywhere. I have mixed opinions on Trump. Cant fault him on PMA tho!

I have mostly negative opinions of Hillary and Sanders. Because professional criminal / liar, and because communist lite.

Good riddance! A Cruz presidency is likely a scarier proposition than a Trump presidency. I hate to even say it but Kasich looks like the best choice on the Republican side. I am actually hoping for a Bernie presidency. Not so much because I agree with everything that he says but rather because I think he'll do the least amount of damage and buy the nation a bit of time. Trump or Hillary are just plain scary.

This is going to be fascinating to watch. The GOP now has almost no options left and will be left with Trump as its nominee unless they have some obscure rule they are going to pull out. And so we are likely seeing the death of major political party in the the US and the ascent of the DNC into an all powerful position. This election will hand the the DNC the White House, the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court.

What will be fun to watch is if the GOP can purge itself after the election and recover or will it just fold up and go away. And what will the DNC do with no opposition? History has shown us that without a common enemy political parties tend to fracture do to in fighting. For anyone who enjoys the study of politics in the US the next decade will be fascinating.

You are a funny guy.

You do not seem to realize that BOTH PARTIES are about to fold up and be gone.

The Dems have even less hope with the baseless and bizarre candidates they are fielding.

Can you not see the writing on the wall, IT HAS BEGUN, UTTER TRANSFORMATION, and FINALLY.

Most people in the US dont vote on issues, they vote on who they feel they relate to. Thats what nobody seems to realize, even as they do just that.
