As I said, I love the work of Vian, and it looks like some of that has been translated, BLT. Most of the stuff I would read is too obscure/weird to get translation.

Another fave read of mine is Dante's Inferno (in the original), but luckily there is an excellent translation by a guy called Mandelbaum - stay away from the Sayers version, it is truly awful.

Yeah, I am actively looking for a new kitty, but the ones I was feeding here have "disappeared", they were not there last night. Will see what happens in the next month or so.

No, nonono. Just emotional, have always been this way. Was worse when I -was- pregnant though! I dropped an egg and cried about it. If someone dared even look at me the wrong way I would cry about it. Just terrible.
