"Foucault's Pendulum".
Yeah, think that is one of my faves - not exactly an easy read but worth pushing on through to the end.

Oh I can't let it go, I go to bed early to read, I wake up with dreams of the characters and must read a little more.
"The Name of the Rose" made a huge impression on me even though I only watched it once and never got my hands on the book.
Some authors cling to me and I wait for their works to show up in my life.
Exupery is one. Forced to read "The little Prince" I all most dismissed him until I found his other works. And the "Citadelle" became a passion. I lost it most regretfully.
Michael Ende, especially his work "Momo" and
Tolkien. He created more than "The Lord of the RIng's" But the lesser works are hard to come by and I lost his and other works moving.

Your cat is gorgeous, so relaxed. Does it come with you when you travel?

Hay Q, looks like we are alone in here, what are you up to on this glorious evening?
I am taking a sarcastically positive approach to every thing to counter act reality.

CC So good to see you, and Syx of course.

Did you chose your dress?
You spoke of having a bigger place, I do hope your dreams come true.
But some times big isn't better, it is what we put in it, I think.
Perhaps I am just saying this because my dreams don't match my reality.
Hugs WIS

For emails I sometimes use the dictation feature on the iPAd - works pretty well instead of typing.

Just a thunk.

No, the cat stays here in summer - I am not looking forward to leaving her

You MUST read Name of The Rose - it is so much better than the movie, which is amazing. There is so much more detail in the book, and loads more back story, as is often the case.

I have read LotR so many times I have lost count - at one stage I used to read the trilogy every year. I am also a fan of French literature, in the original however.

I do hope she has a good Nanny, cats are so sensitive.

I have read LotR so many times I have lost count - at one stage I used to read the trilogy every year.

Hmmm so did I, it was all most a happy ritual to start over again, I think it is two years now since I read them. I was terribly disappointed by the movie. It is well made but so superficial.

I am also a fan of French literature, in the original however.

You have read Exupery in French??? I must scream. Or perhaps you are not a fan, please forgive me. But if you are I hate you in a very kind and most appreciative manner.
Is he fabulous in French?
So much is lost in translation.

I wrote a really long reply and whoosh it evaporated.

So what is "Boogie Boarding" ?

I am semi OK, persistently oblivious at the moment. Reality doesn't exist.
You didn't tell me how you are?
