If there are no bids on an item, there will be a starting price so just put in a little more for your bid in the box. What I do is put the item in my
'watch list'. I'll keep an eye on how the bidding is going and will go in when the bids are about to close and I'll put whatever price I'm willing to
pay plus like 50 cents. I can't tell you how many times I lost an item because someone bid 50 cents more! LOL Sometimes there is no competition so you
get the item at whatever the selling price is.
If you're bidding and the bid before yours was 7.00 and you put in 10.00 and the bidding closes, you'll get it for just a bit more than their last
bid, but less than your ten dollar bid.
It's fun. I have been through some bidding wars as I call them where a few of you are bidding and determined to get the damned item. You sit there
swearing and saying to yourself, "I don't think so lady!" and keep bidding. LOL
Put in whatever you may be looking for in the search bar, like 'women's dresses' and a page comes up. You have a choice on viewing items up and down
one at a time, or view the items across in rows. Then on the left there are different options like buying only from North America, size and style of
the dress and color...whether you only want to view items with free postage, how high the price range is etc.
You can choose to view the item as 'best match, ending soonest, newly listed etc.
You'll get the hang of it. You can some things really cheap.
I picked out a pretty bracelet for my medic alert tag to replace the chain on it. Pretty handmade pink and white beads and silver in between,
decorative and lovely.
