Trump: Transgender people can use whatever bathroom they want

I normally like your responses but I have to take you to task over Bernie being preferable. He is a communist no matter how much the media try to sugarcoat. Is that what you want... Communism ? Because that's what he's offering and that is where the Democrat Party is taking us. Trump is not conservative but at least a better economist.

So I was sitting in the stall today, and tried to picture a transgendered individual in the bathroom with me. Some of these transgendered individuals are nearly 100% complete with their reassignment surgery.

I'd probably think that a biologically-born woman was in the bathroom with me, and that would be TEN TIMES more uncomfortable than knowing that the man in the stall over was born a woman.

Like seriously think about it.

If they look, act, talk, and sound like a woman-- you would probably never know if he was born a man and sharing the bathroom with you. That's bound to cause more problems for people, yelling and arguing and possibly even demanding to "see proof" from the transgender individual.

"You're a woman! Get out of the men's room!"

"No, I'm a transgendered individual..."

"Well you don't look like you were ever a man! Prove it!"

How degrading that would be. Seriously, have we sunk so low in our maturity level that we can't just keep our eyes to ourselves, lock the stall door behind us and take care of business.

ITS A BATHROOM. We're not asking people to move in with one another or something.

No hes a socialist, and he admits to being a socialist, he doesnt deny being a socialist, nor does he deny that his policies are socialist. He stands by his principles and doesnt waffle.........Trump does on damn near every subject, and depending on the group hes talking to.

I didnt say I liked Bernies Ideas or that I agree with him, but at least the guy is consistent......

Actually a savvy journalist over at the Washington Post dug up some good red dirt on the Bern!
Economists already know what will happen if the Bern does what he wants. Be that as it may I'm sure the socialists/communists are all for whatever radical change whatever it is as long as their long term goals are accomplished.

A lot of transgender people look like a woman if they are MtF or look like a man if they are FtM it only makes sense that they go to the bathroom in the bathroom of their choice. A lot of work goes into making someone who is traditionally male look female, including hormones and the like. The same goes for the other way around. It isn't just something that a molester can pull off in an hour before going to the bathroom. And if a molester does make a shoddy attempt, stop him or her, not the transgender people. The transgender people just want to go to the bathroom in peace in the bathroom they feel comfortable in.

Believe it or not, some people have problems with transgender people going to the bathroom in their natural gender's toilet and others have problems with them going to the bathroom in their associated gender's toilet.

It really isn't anyone's business. The transgender people just want to be able to go to the bathroom without being harassed. If you ask me, it makes the most sense for them to go to the bathroom in the bathroom of the gender they identify with, since they aren't attracted to that gender and oftentimes look like that gender. But for an early trans person who still looks and acts like their traditional gender, they might still want to use that bathroom.

Wouldn't you say most people have manners and decorum and don't want to offend or upset others?

And, I believe, most transgenders put a lot of effort into being the gender they identify with - - - and do not want to stand out.

Nobody had any problem for 20+ years till this ridiculous law. Too many do not understand the difference between transvestites and transgenders. And they will keep chanting "But it's for the children! Don't make no more victims!" If they're that worried then what about those transkids forced to use the bathrooms of genders they don't identify with?

I just thought about something but wouldn't it be in a Rapist's best interest to be seen as manly as possible if by chance apprehended. I mean its pretty common knowledge how rapist's are treated while incarcerated. The idea of being thrown into jail dressed as a woman would be enough to deter most men from risking getting arrested like that I would think. Lest they meet... side note: I bet that guy loves Jesus, America and his mom.

Is a "Transgendered" person something that medical science has made possible? I never heard that word in the 1970's or 80's...and maybe the 90's.

I guess even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.

On this, Trump and I agree. Public restrooms are not a place for a child alone....so anyone making the "molester" argument is ignoring the bigger point: if you're worried about your kids, keep an eye on them.

There are "Far Right Republicans" that I know who really think this is a stupid disscussion. There are "Progressive Liberals" that I know that are all up in arms over it.

This isn't so simple as blaming a political grouping. Its not political. Its cultural.
