You are absolutely right. 63 pales in comparison.

And it has nothing to do with voting as you have been claiming. It's exactly the same as it's been for decades, simply upheld by the courts.

Allowing the presence of ilegals has the potential to influence our laws based on what we've been discussing in this thread. If a representative wants more votes then what's the obvious next step?

Once again I am still right.

No you aren't. Illegals have been in the US for decades and not much as far as what we're talking about has changed. Or are you going to claim that this is something new.

It isn't new but clearly representatives are going to do whatever they have to in order to get more votes and their going to work towards lobbying for amnesty in order to grow their constituency.

Pretty damn obvious dude stop the crap.

And how is that different? That has been going on for as long as there have been districts, and still not much has changed.

I wouldn't be too worried right now. Amnesty and giving illegals the ability to vote is still years away.

It will still take some time working out the logistics of moving that massive voting bloc into swing states and red states, like Texas.

Why do they have political influence?

Because they're a legitimate LEGAL citizen demographic much like many others in the U.S.
I kind of understand where your concern is coming from, you dislike the fact that the Latino community has political influence. This comes from your fear(dislike)that they may propose the ability for illegal Latino persons to be counted towards the votes of electors in the electoral college. Which as other members have pointed out, will never happen.

However, based on what you wrote in the OP you seem to be confusing some terminology here. Which is how your premise in this thread is invalid. You know,It's not a bad thing to admit you were wrong.

Sure that's why 95% of the responses are trying to tell you that you are being ignorant on this issue.

It's one of the biggest topics of conversation in the current election cycle.

Are you really trying to tell me it doesn't matter?

No, I'm trying to tell you that you were wrong, and this is more of the same. Yes it matters, but it's not going to radically change laws or give illegals the right to vote.

Amnesty is one of the biggest topics of conversation in the political arena right now and amnesty is legalization which is the ability to vote.

Give me a freaking break people stop acting like children.

Why are we counting them if this isn't a move towards voting?

Because the US Constitution, which you so obviously hate, says they must be counted. So, get over it.

Are you saying that a majority of the responses here are in agreement with you?

Instead of coming up with ridiculous threads that you can't seem to understand I suggest you take your time and research it better so everyone doesn't have to school you on it and remember its quality not quantity.
