I have nothing against Kanz's system. Its very unique and charming. There is plenty of room in the Universe for a variety of views; sometimes two conflicting views can both be true-ish.

But my question remains.

Which system of thought or "metaphysics" do you find has some apparent reality baked in, if any?

All science doesn't start as Pseudo-Science, it starts with the most basic fundamentals of what can be reasonably understood as certain and you build upon that, what's the point in throwing out supposedly clever one liners when it simply indicates you slept though the first lesson?

I did go on and on about Sumerian religion, no argument from myself there and i'm sure anybody else, it's not your thing and i'll excuse you for not knowing but i can assure you i base everything on the latest academic research, there are also many different aspects to look at and i don't repeat myself i worked toward building an overall considered perspective.

But anyway trying to reverse the criticism on to my person is just misdirection, if you cannot address one single issue i raised and don't have anything that remotely resembles a credible scientific hypothesis then that's why i already do ignore you're posts if they're repeating the same old, but this had nothing to do with your person, it was friendly advise, saying what i thought needed saying, as others have, and you've treated them with the same disrespect.

So here's the thing, i won't be offering any more and i'm not going to engage in any sort of drawn out debate on this, you decided to treat me with the same contempt you've shown everyone else whose tried to help out on this, i don't really care and it's only what i expected, the only reason i did it was because of your superior attitude toward that other thread, i'll let you get on with being mildly amusing now, seems the only game in town these days anyway

Patronization is not showing deep respect the last time i checked the dictionary, that was the very thing i called you out on with regards to the other thread and poster, assumptions of superiority don't require much effort so i guess there's no reason for you to do any serious research anyway if you're content with that.

This had nothing to do with making friends or enemies that again is mis-direction, it was about what is required to be constructive and move forward, that's all, genuine respect and consideration is a pre-requisite, i don't care how people like to project themselves i observe how they behave, so if you want to show me any genuine respect just consider my criticism, you don't need to say anything and it's probably for the best if you don't, it's entirely up to you of course.

You know i've only ever tried to be helpful and constructive around these parts, sort of feeling here there's no point anymore.

Of all the old religions and cultures, I'm most fascinated by the Sumerian folklore/mythos/system.

If any ancient gods turned out to be real, then anything prechristian would be my choice, as Christianity is both a psychological operation of the Roman empire, and a conflated corruption of earlier cultures.

Frankly it would be an HONOR for say Enki to come back and "set me straight". In his role as a Prometheus type archetype I'm fond of him.

Yes I'm a bit stupidly rough on people sometimes...since I don't back down on my positions i get a lot of bad blowback nearly daily.

I rather thought we were kindred spirits...your comments on Cestus the sea beast Really got me thinking.

You get more respect from me than most people...it saddens me that you don't see it.

It's not a personal issue and i was only addressing one single topic i and others think you go on about too much without moving forward on, when challenged you always throw up a smoke screen and i think it was disrespectful to just try that on me, i'd have been happy enough if you'd just replied i'll give your criticism some thought, you're always respectful and considerate towards myself and others that isn't an issue, you're also sometimes complimentary and i'm grateful, we get along just fine so i'd never pick you up on something just to be mean.

Here's the thing that's really bothering me though and nothing to do with you directly at all, for over a week there's been serious off the scale weirdness, and that's by my standards, around these parts deeply affecting myself and others who i love very much both around here and who live elsewhere, it's all inter-connected over considerable geographic distances and deeply paranormal, i couldn't even begin to literally describe what's going on because it'ss totally tabloid, scandalous, shocking and sensational and deeply personal, even last night there was fleeing in horror in the middle of the night at one of the sites involved and this is ongoing, right now i'm monitoring a situation, but for three days i've been trying to consider ways to begin to discuss the basic principles involved, for three days i've been wanting to bring this up here, and i look at the thread and i think you cannot be serious, i may as well go post on facebook.

Not looking for any help or advise here or even consideration, many ways it's been great fun and highly amusing at times, though an emotional roller coaster, for those involved it changes everything, but anyway there we go, back to yer space critters and the mildly amusing, oh and i'm not going to be drawn on this either...

Is another nitwit new ager trying to summon "the gods" again? 999 times out of 1000 they will just loose a swarm of "space imps" who then cause a multiyear infestation of high strangeness and "UFOs".

Hear it yes there's the thing, let's just say when i was deliberating over whether i could even begin to discuss any of this i was involved in a three way discussion with two others i know and there was only one person in the room, myself, and no electronic communication involved with anyone, and that's just one of the symptomatic side effects, that sort of like telepathy then but it's along the lines of the Borg collective and there's a lot more involved than simple exchange of thoughts

No it's fine i'm the one they call when normal service needs to be resumed anyway, when i've got the principles of what's been involved i'll discuss it and right now i have defused a lot of factors that were escalating the situation but it's not over and i can't go into many details, the main consideration is whether it's ever going to be over and whether this is going to expand.

'Soul' restored after driving all over Scotland for 4 days - I missed and am already missing again the mountains and splendour of the scenery from dark damp glens to the open moors and craggy cliff tops along the coast. The peaks were lightly dusted with snow which set the backgrounds perfectly and it only snowed on us as we went through the Spittal of Glenshee.

Amazingly most of the plants in the greenhouse survived too but enough of my chit chat interruption

Seems more interesting things are afoot.
