There are research centers in malls that pay very small amounts depending on how much the questions or opinions are worth.

I have participated in ," does this laundry detergent smell good?" poles

Jesus is a Prophet in Islam.

One of the most mentioned in the Quran.

Charlie, nothing gets my dander flying as quickly as someone trying to compare Jesus to Mohammed. There is no comparison WHATSOEVER.

So I'll leave this thread,

Are you that insecure in your faith that someone else's faith causes you that much discomfort?

Well that certainly is interesting. So let me get this straight, Muslims and Christians believe in the same god?

Wrong title ... You can not speak for a Muslim unless you are that Muslim

Depends who you ask.

Personally I don't think so.

There have been other polls done and people there is a large population that should from my point of view be in insane asylums instead of walking around in society. Fundamentalism is rampant among Muslim. If it was opposite and Sufism was the majority of Muslim then Islam would not have been such a big problem. But Sufi are seen as Kafir by some Muslim.

Reformation needed to get rid of Wahhabism and Shia equivalent. Maybe then the curse of Muhammad:s dualistic hate for unbelievers of him will be lifted. Muhammad had a big ego and killed people who objected to his holiness.

I do think the spiritual world exists and is connected to the quantum probability field. But that the spiritual world exists prove nothing about what Muhammad and Apostle Paul was. I do not take spiritual advice from people who behave like politicians. Normally they are hypocrites.

At least Muhammad got this right:

There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks he speaks lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays his trust.

Remind you of someone in history? For me this is one of those pot calling the kettle black moments.

Ok, well, I'm opening up a debate. If you don't want to here, I'll make a thread. But...I see a clear contradiction already. How can Jesus and Mohammad be both a prophet from "god" unless, ah... So Muslims believe Jesus is an Arab? Jesus is Allah's prophet, is that what they think?

It was meant to be silly.. So you would rather die then denounce your faith,, that says alot to me.. Talk about effing brainwashed..

Watchout for that invisible man in the sky..

So you are a self serving person then IF you would choose to save yourself and betray your suppossed convictions and beliefs. Doing that would say to the guy holding the gun that he dont even need to waste a bullet because you would already be dead inside and there would be no point.

Jesus was a Hebrew.

Yes, Jesus is a Prophet of God I already said that.

Look, Muslims believe he was a Prophet, Christians believe he is the Son Of God and an extension of God.

That's the main difference, among many others.

I don't know any Muslims who agree with violence and certainly not suicide bombings.
Suicide is a great sin, as is murder, to combine the two is outlandishly unIslamic.

We discuss this together often and find it sickening.

So if ^^^^ is outlandishly unIslamic .... who would you say is responsible

for all the suicide bombings, and the sort of things happening such as Paris etc?

And if it is a great sin surely they are defeating the objective of getting to paradise?

If I had the answer to defeating radicalisation I'd be famous... Or dead.

Yes it defeats the purpose but if you take an illiterate teenager and indoctrinate him into believing scripture says such and such it might be pretty easy to convince someone to blow themselves up.

Not that they're all illiterate.

Some are just sick murderous freaks.

I'm not seeing any difference. Seems rather convoluted actually. So, Jesus was Hebrew, prophet to "god", but which god? The Abraham god or Allah? There can't be two gods right? You're not being clear on this point. If Muslims believe in Jesus, then they must believe in his teachings. Which are from the Abraham god. Reading online, Muslims believe he's an apostate, so that must mean Jesus is the prophet to Allah, according to Islam. So if Jesus is a prophet of Allah, then why are his teachings opposite to those of Mohammad?

Something isn't adding up.

Reldra. there was a incident in africa at one time where these armed men broke into a church and took everyone hostage. one by one they took them behind the church out of sight of the others. They would try to get them to renounce their faith and if they would not they were to be killed. but there was a twist here.

See they didnt kill them who would not renounce their faith. they let them leave as long as they kept quiet and left. they shot the ones who did renounce their faith though. the church members when they came back talked to each other about it.

So sometimes renouncing something will get you killed just as fast as not.

Allah means God.
It's the same thing.

The God of Abraham has many messengers, we believe Jesus & Muhammad to be amongst them...

Jesus & Muhammad's teaching only differ in that Muhammad said more...

Only a few subjects are touched upon by Jesus, that of Love, Peace & Mercy...

Muhammad the same in large parts of the Quran, but he also spoke of warfare, self defence, not sleeping with relatives, among other things.

It's like asking why are Moses & Jesus' teachings so different...
Or Jacob & Abraham...

They all had different things to divulge.

I have wondered if Jesus and Muhammad were the same person, just viewed differently.

Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh. A rose is a rose is a rose. So, the Christian god is the same as the Muslim god. If Jesus is revered as a prophet from Allah, 600 years before Muhammad, then why make any distinction between Christianity and Islam? What puts Islam before Christianity? It's the same ball of wax. Minus all the warmongering as per the Qu'ran

you're a convert right? In your previous avatar, is that you in the pic? Young white Muslim convert?

Usually converts are the worse and most radical of all, just look at former smokers. And Charlie is a prime example.
