Is RT also under control of TPTB? Or is it some kind of different news channel. Need to know so I can put my tin foil hat on

I am the wrong person to ask about TPTB. It's a state owned channel that is the mouthpiece for the Russian Government.

Putin just made a statement basically inferring that they know Turkey have been funding ISIS.

Then Russia needs to supply evidence of this to the rest of the world.
If proven to be correct, NATO will cut ties with Turkey and leave it to defend itself.

If you don't realise that NATO is in on it then you really don't under the politics of the Syrian war. The destabilisation of Syria is being orchestrated by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar but the US (or the AngloZionist powers) have fully signed off on it in order to weaken Russia. This is about natural gas and competing pipeline proposals that intersect Syria.

Yes you are correct, we know this. But it's about showing the world and your gov officals the evidence
. Once he does that he can go after Turkey and provide enough support to protect the oil and gas

We know this?
Then we need to see EVIDENCE for it.
As usual, ATS members make a lot of claims about all kinds of conspiracies, but they have absolutely nothing to back it up.
And no, RT reports and YouTube conspiracy videos are NOT evidence.

So much shilling going on in this thread is disgusting. Its obvious who's side Turkey is on, and anyone that refutes that fact is an ISIS shill.

Nah, it's just ignorance and the results of media brainwashing. Turkey good. Russia bad. Syria bad. ISIS bad. And forget the nuance and complexity.

Logical fallacy. One can despise Turkey while acknowledging Russia was in the wrong. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I ponder at this moment had the same aircraft been a US, British, French, Australian, Isrealy or Canadian fighter or later perchance a Chinese aircraft the consequences would have been different.

I believe it would be .. they would have responded to warnings rather than ignore them.

I'm still strong of the opinion that Turkey is not doing itself any favours here.

Or, they are letting Russia know to be careful who they bully. This was not the first incident. My opinion is open to change as the facts change, as it stands, Russia is completely to blame.

As it stands nobody is taking the blame.

Russia states it was in Syrian airspace, Turkey states it was in their airspace. Regardless, one pilot has now 'allegedly' been captured by rebels who are in the hunt for the second pilot.

Whichever way you look at it, Turkey should not have shot down that plane.

Turkey and Russia can both be bad.

Logical fallacies abound.

Thankfully the pilots ejected safely and now they just need to return to Russia's hands .
If they somehow fell into Isis hands we know how they treat other countries pilots.

False. If their version is correct they should have.

Russia, in either version, should have responded to warnings. Russia does not deny the warnings, they don't claim to have responded.

I think it is more likely that Turkey just doesn't like Syria, and now Russia for backing Assad, so they aren't willing to give them any breathing room when it comes to borders.

U don't get it. Turkey loves Syria it wants the oil pipeline. And it wants deash to get it. Then it want deash to sell it to them cheap so they can...... Turkey is protecting, funding, suppling, everything deash.

Okay, the game has just changed significantly.

Images are circulating on social media showing a supposed Russian pilot looking either dead or severely bloodied and bruised, with the claim that one was killed and another is in custody.

All bets are now officially off.

Putin will now have no choice but to strike a Turkish target. The Russian people will see that image and immediately demand a response.

This is what everyone feared would happen. An encounter has led to an incident that is quickly spiraling out of control.

If that image had not been put out there this could have calmed down through diplomatic rationality, but now that image is out there for all to see the Russian people will be forcing Putin's hand.

I sincerely hope that NATO is restrained when Russia does strike Turkey, and I hope that any strike Russia does make is purely symbolic.

Perhaps, and I apolgise for calling you rude, not very polite though saying someone can't read.

As for the BBC story, they have actually now changed the main headline to what was written on that side bit.

No, we're just rational people who base our opinions on what we actually know, rather than what Alex Jones screams about in one of his highly profitable videos.

You know, there is a difference between "suspicion" and "fact", right?

The evidence? That Turkey supports ISIS militarily and financially? That Saudi and Qatari nationals fund ISIS, Al-Qaeda and al-Nusra? That declassified Pentagon reports show that the US was at least aware of what ISIS would do back in 2012 and that the Sunni powers were backing it? It's all well reported in respected media outlets like The Guardian, NYT and a host of others. Just because you are ignorant of why the West and the Gulf nations want to remove Assad doesn't make it a conspiracy theory.

I am hearing chatter from other sites that a pic of the pilot DEAD is circulation on twitter. Can anybody confirm?

But pictures showed 2 parachutes. If the pilot was killed on the ground, it will be very bad.
