Any reason why you say Iran, it could have been a US drone?

If it was Iranian then it may have got off course . I would imagine they (Iran) needs a eye in the sky in that area . If it was possible for a Syrian or Russian to veer off course then a drone is more probable .

I would bet my life Turkey under advice of their top dog in NATO the USA, shot down a plane that was close to their border but didn't cross into Turkey

I hope Turkey knows who they are messing with

All of this is what Pentagon wants

They want Russia bogged in war now that Russia is hitting I-CIA-SIS

It was a drone and it was 3K into Turkish airspace. And Russia is not hitting ISIS by the way. And if the US wanted a war it would have one without wasting time with stuff like this. And the Turks have no fear of the Russians.

With what did they shoot that little thing down? It looks like crash damage only.

I don't remember quite well, when it was, but about some months ago I saw some Iranian tech or drones, and it seemed to me a lot like them. It's not a "fancy" tech... (later I will try go give feedback on that, if I can find it)

nevertheless, I'm no "expert" just given my hunch.

Pretty much everything you just wrote is pure speculation and understandably biased personal opinion.

Of course Russia is hitting ISIS...the US has already tried in vain to rubbish what they have accomplished in virtually no time, incidentally what the US HASN'T accomplished in well over a year of 'operations' in Syria.

Sour grapes don't make for accurate facts mate. If the Russians had not been blowing the hell out of ISIS, do you seriously think their mouth pieces in the MSM wouldn't be all over it like fleas on a filthy dog?

Of course they would.

Jealousy is such an ugly, irrational emotion, especially when the goal is supposedly the same for the US..or is it?

I have to ask you, because you seem like one of the few who is keeping your head and composure amongst all the happenings. I have to ask you, are you surprised at the drummed up support for Putin and all the Russian supporters over flowing the gallery at this time? Do you think it's just invouge and they will support any countries that makes the west and specifically America look bad. Or do we have a group of people who are in cahoots?I wonder what your opinion of all this is? Because it seems extremely strange, people I never thought would be tooting the russkis horn; are doing so at a wierd pace, flavor of the week or something else?

Yep, it might have just veered of course. But I can't be sure if it's Iran, it can also the Russians, since they did mentuon using drone in Syria and they are either denying it.

Just what if it was the Russians instead? Turkey would be really pissed about it, I would think.

Personally, i say it like i see it.

I would do nothing to harm my countrymen or my country, I'm patriotic, but not to the point where i will ignore wrongdoing by my government, who in my opinion ought to be above reproach and lead by the example they wish the public to emulate.

I know NO Russians, not a single one. Never been there, don't follow the ideology there, have zero connections to the place...but if i see them doing good (or NOT doing bad) and read people here attempting to make political capital out of trying to twist that good into something looking bad, purely for the sake of face saving for their own inept or corrupt governments, i will speak up about it.

That's not anything to do with fashionable points of view about Russia or anyone else, that's just simple down to earth honesty of opinion mate..something that more than a handful of flag waving automatons around here could do with.

Simple really.

Nobody wants a world dominated or controlled by Russia nor have I seen anyone here suggest such a thing. But here's the rub; NOBODY wants a world dominated or controlled by the U.S.

What part of opposition to imperialism do people not understand?

Well then I suggest you bring down all the world powers and fight all the seriptious activity they all engage in. Because believe it or not otherwise you are taking sides because it benefits one or the other, just the reality of it sorry to say. Sit there with this moral pretentious attitude and act like you haven't taken sides or participated in the decline of society. It's a rich point of view I'll give you that.

People like to see positive logical action especially after all these years.

Is Iraq better, Afghanistan, Libya?

No, they are still hell holes, a million times worse than before the Wests invasions and interventions.

It's someone else's turn and so far it seems like they are doing a better job.

Russia “Violated” Turkish Airspace Because Turkey “Moved” Its Border

Turkey has maintained a buffer zone five miles inside Syria since June 2012, when a Syrian air defense missile shot down a Turkish fighter plane that had strayed into Syrian airspace. Under revised rules of engagement put in effect then, the Turkish air force would evaluate any target coming within five miles of the Turkish border as an enemy and act accordingly.

I hope you are aware of it.

What is the radar signature of such a small drone? If they saw it on radar, then they must've known that it was too small to be a manned plane, so why would they try and contact it?

If they saw it from the ground, they also must have known it was a drone.

It doesn't really look like it has been shot, although I do see some markings on the wing it doesn't look to be hit by machine gun fire or a missile with a fragmentation warhead.

I am not really buying it.

Could be that Turkey contrived this story to prove the point that they will shoot at intruders.

Or something is being covered up.

Speculation off course.

Just goes to show the wide interpretation of reality does it not? Some persons trash is another mans treasure.

You wanna talk about taking sides? What side is the U.S. On? Are they against ISIS or helping them because as of now it's really hard to tell.
maybe if my government didn't always say one thing while doing another I might take them more seriously.

I hope America gets their wee-wee slapped, I'm not gonna lie. But having my country have to learn the hard way is infinitely better than my government turning this world to #.

If other nations have bigger balls than the citizens of these corrupted nations so be it. I just hope they understand the fine line between government foreign policy and Americans right to self determination. If they think they can march right into American land and occupy us, they have another thing coming.

That's the difference between being a patriot and a government lapdog.

Fighting is not the only option.

all you russki supporters...

Are you living in the 1970's or something?

EVERYTHING...literally everything, including power struggles and fall outs between powerful governments are ALL about achieving a level of balance.

With an unchallenged single dominant power, the world will have tyranny sooner or later...with at least one counter - BALANCE to challenge that potentially tyrannous power, it's that much more difficult to dominate anything.

Russia / China are the balance factor to the US. Like them or not, we need to have a balance.

To be frank mate...we're not making America look bad...your government is doing a great job all on it's own.
