I have to agree on this. BRICS is not there to dethrone anyone.
BRICS is set up as a an alternative to other financial institutions as our country NZ has joined them.
New Zealand to invest...
We have strong trading ties to China and to a lesser extent Russia.
I think it would return some balance in the foreign exchange market and maybe will affect the USD but Im no financial expert.
I dont see a weaker USD as a negative. It would make your exports more competitive and thus more jobs.
But again WTF do I know.
