9/11 Conspiracy Theorists still subjected to ridicule

9/11 conspiracy theorists just refuse to listen to plain, simple logic. Here’s a really good example of that

IMAGINE, for a moment that the awful terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, were in fact a conspiracy. That they were an inside job.

Imagine that the Twin Towers were detonated rather than just fell. Imagine that the Twin Towers had been deliberately wired up for destruction and collapsed from the top down, even though buildings wired for demolition always collapse from the bottom.

Now imagine the legions of people who would’ve had to spend months, completely undetected, concealing tonnes of explosives in the two towers to generate enough explosive force to take down both buildings. Imagine those people performing this sinister covert work despite the security and sniffer dogs which had been permanently stationed on site ever since the Trade Center truck bombing in 1993.

Keep imagining. Imagine that the plane which struck the Pentagon was, as some claim, a missile. Overlook the fact that a hijacked civilian aircraft, which was clearly visible on the radar at the Pentagon, completely disappeared off the radar right at the moment the Pentagon was impacted by the ‘missile’.

Imagine these and many other incredible acts of stealth and coincidence. And now consider this. That no American, in 14 years, has ever come forward to admit it. That not a single one of the tens of thousands of people required to orchestrate the greatest attack on American soil has ever felt guilty about it, or been moved to speak for any reason.

Consider that not one of these people, not one, ever felt moved to spill the beans because they were broke and thought they could make money with a book or movie deal.

It doesn't bother me that the author of this article believes the Official Story. It doesn't even bother me that he focuses more on making fun of those who do question the OS rather than providing evidence that the OS is accurate. What does bother me is that so many uninformed people will read the article and believe that he is right, that logic and reason are on his side without actually doing any research or critical thinking themselves. I know for a FACT that many great minds on this website could absolutely destroy this guy in a fair and balanced debate on the topic, but that will never happen.

For those curious: I was once a believer of the OS, until I stumbled upon a fantastic ATS thread (can't remember which one exactly) back in 2004-2005 (Wasn't a member back then). This encouraged me to do some research on the events surrounding that fateful day and it became clear to me that the OS was not an accurate depiction of events.

14 years on, what are your views on one of the most important events in modern history?

Some people just can't accept that the 9/11 was the gateway to everything we see now. It's the new Pearl Harbour and will justify any war they want to start against brown people for the rest of our lives..... It's sick.

I wouldn't exactly call any such ridicule "unfair". 9/11 conspiracy theorists (as a whole), have earned any ridicule they get. There are, of course, intelligent individuals who have raised some interesting questions and are undeserving of any ridicule, but 'truthers' as a whole? Not so much...

We could argue that the people who believe the salomon building WASN'T demolished fly in the face of reality and too deserve 'ridicule'. I just posted evidence of it, captured right there for our eyes to see. Ridiculous indeed.

As a whole is a nice way to generalise if you ask me. I think ridiculing people simply looking for answers is a great way to go about a debate, no?

It's 4 in the morning And I can stop thinking about the fact that all those people died and we really don't have a answer why. if you believe the OS you most want the blindfold,,,,I feel it was a inside job......building 7 opened my eyes!,,,,Made me realize what we think is going on around us is not what it seems.

Then don't allow that. I've posted a video right as the first reply. If people want to tell me that's a fire, that's their business. I just hope they never, ever actually see a fire. Never mind one in a building!

Everything about that video screams demolition, absolutely everything, coupled with the admission that it was 'pulled' and you have a solid gold case. It doesn't matter that the admission was recanted, it was made. They lied, we found out. What happened next? The lie justified various wars. It's the Hegelian dialectic down to to a tee. If only 90% of the population UNDERSTOOD that.

It's no problem. I'm not here with an agenda. Like you I don't like division, but on this subject there's just too much that happened to say it was 'all' planes.

Yes the planes were atrocious and if piloted by they people they said (I mean their passports survived right, fml) then fine. It still doesn't justify the saloman building. Nothing does..... And they still deny it. They even left it out of the 'official' report.

I'm still awaiting the Chilcott inquiry for OUR involvement and I know it'll be a complete whitewash. Thing is, people with power lie. They have to, it's their job.

Not only that, but people trying to warn us about future events are subject to ridicule as well. Everybody is ridiculing this guy, but I think he's on to something.

I just see a guy rapidly losing his cool with himself. Not the most reliable source, eh. I don't know if that post was sarcasm (God knows there's enough of that on this site at the moment) or serious. He seemed stressed about something. Or acting..... Who knows. Anyway, it's September now and nothing as of yet.

You shouldn't make predictions, especially if you're Christian. One man did predict, kind of 911, but it could have been a fluke. Bill Cooper.
Though even Cooper said do not set dates, you're setting yourself up for a fall.

Isn't that a problem though, this is how the truth is silenced. You've been forced to keep to yourself on a subject that's more important than 90% of the things we all talk openly about on this site.

I understand fully what you're saying, and in a way I sympathise with it. But information is power, we now have information. Use it. The internet probably wont be round much longer as we know it

Recently two things have triggered 9/11 back into that nasty type of memory occurred for me.

Firemen remind me of their colleague who told the camera he smelt explosives as he tried to rescue people. Now he knew what he was smelling through his training.

I saw Donna Summer had died and had contributed her early death to having been in the area and breathed in the debris of the explosion. I also saw someone else who had died like this also. I was so saddened to think of all those people who thought they had survived but who had been given a premature death sentence.

I put this horrendous act in the same basket as the murder of Princess Diana - again something done by some who think themselves elite and to clear the past way for themselves. But even though those responsible haven't yet been bought to book, the suspicion of their guilt and the distrust many in the public still hold, means those 'elite' who carry out these audacious murders in the future will have to be more careful in with any of their planned heinous acts.

Our Royals, like the owners of those Towers will never clear their names and are tainted and considered untrustworthy and murderers by an awful lot of people. Their Defence will always be to use their media to try to ridicule. However, today character assassination and ridicule are hackneyed tools mostly utilised by the guilty. Many although labelled as conspiracy theorists today think 'You protest too much'. Maybe it can't be proved, but I instinctively know you are guilty. Your innocence isn't proved.

If there wasn't something wrong with the OS then people wouldn't be asking all these questions.

Now, I could say "evidence" has been collected to show there was something to the conspiracy theory that indicates an inside job. I don't know for sure evidence was collected to prove this.
All we really have is internet speculation.

You can't jail people with no evidence.
People don't believe you if you have no evidence.

Basically when it comes down to it, all you have is your own opinion.

I hope Larry Silverstein didn't get any insurance payout for the deliberate 'pulling' of his building - even though he did it because of the altruistic 'loss of life'. We know the debris alone poisoned people and has caused even more loss of life.

It's all about how it's written, the leading language - the phrases which are written to make the reader feel stupid if they disagree with what the author is writing.

Simple tricks work on simple people.

Not us though. We're confident in our beliefs.

I don't believe the official conspiracy, does that then make me a conspiracy theorist?
