optical illusion is something else. Lazar stated it clearly that there's no way in hell they could fake that gravity field - and he felt it with his own hands.

you can't fake some things without a technology at such a high level that there's actually no point in faking.

What I was trying to say is that some things Bob witnessed were real and other things were not.

Everything he said could be true. He maybe telling us what he perceives to be the truth. Or he could be lying.

We simply don't have enough information to see the big picture.

It all makes sense to me: there we have a guy with fair cognitive skills, but either too stupid, too lazy or too arrogant to earn a degree. He worked for a contractor (Kirk Meyer) and yes, he was employed at A51, but he did routine work that did not require any clearance. And just for a short while. He himself gives a perfecty rational reason why he'd tell such nonsensical stories: his wife thought he had an affair as he constantly received weird phone calls. Well, he probably HAD an affair, or perhaps he tried to hide his engagement with brothels and hookers for his wife. So, he comes up with a mix of truth and fiction, partially invented, partially stolen from other sources: that he was involved in some "top secret" work at A51 and that that was the reason for all these weird phone calls. He probably got kicked out of A51 after a while - but instead of admitting that, he'd rather continue the lies and now comes up with the story he tells all this in the public interest.

This guy is really full of it.

Bob lazar is believable. There was another scientist named Thomas T. Brown who discovered that you could also use a dialectic (stacked-as in wafer form), capacitance with applied ultra-high frequency to produce an electrostatic field to create anti-gravity. What Bob Lazar is saying sounds like that only far more powerful.

Whilst that is a plausible theory unless Bob Lazar admits it, then how can we know for sure?

It all seems a bit over the top as well to conceal an affair by appearing on TV and telling a fantastic story that is still being debated 25 years later.

Of course you can see how every time this story rears its head on here how viewpoints are divided. So I respect your opinion and the logic to arrive at your conclusion that the story was total BS. Personally though I don't see the hard evidence to convince me beyond reasonable doubt.

Well, if the guy was telling the truth, the military complex just buy to themselves 25 years of impunity regarding the manipulation of extraterrestrial materials. Because, yeah, it's not like the whole planet could get real benefits of such technologies or something...

Is this really Bob Lazar in the video? I would never have recognized him. I recall all these old pictures where he looked like a nerdy student... but now... he looks like a mature grown up, businessman, almost like an entertainer in show business... oh wait...
Yeah, I don't know.... can't bring myself to listen to these things anymore. Not after all these years with so called "classified" information

Oh boy! Great stuff. But I seen recent vids of Bob and he said he wished it all would go away? Maybe Bob needs $$$ again for his science bubble in Michigan? I live in Michigan myself, maybe by chance I'll run into him someday?

If you do, please ask him a question for me and post his reply here. The question is and is the title of a thread of mine back in 2009 as The Shrike:
"Why is the Testors/Lazar S4 UFO identical to Meier's Beamship?"
www.abovetopsecret.com...

George has had a very arduous week busting out the Health Department of the State of Nevada. He's going to post his thoughts here tomorrow morning, stay tuned...

Since you're in touch with George, please ask him a question for me and post his reply here. The question is and is the title of a thread of mine back in 2009 as The Shrike:
"Why is the Testors/Lazar S4 UFO identical to Meier's Beamship?"
www.abovetopsecret.com... George had to be aware of what Meier's "Beamship" looks like and its similarity to Lazar's "Sport Model" should have made George think about this and asked Lazar why the almost 100% similarity.

Outstanding question deserves outstanding answer. I've been asking it since the early '90s!

They bring this up in the video posted, but they dont have an explanation. Lazar in general says he is not that informed about UFO personalities and incidents. I dont think your question is insurmountable though, I just cant believe the story in general. There would be teams of people with proven resumes from Lockheed/universities working on this thing 24/7. Not some random Joe.

To answer your question though
Suppose Meier got his ideas from a genuine UFO report which happens to be one of the captured UFOs, not necessarily the exact same one.

Even if Meier is a fraud, it doesnt necessarily follow that Lazar is one.

I wouldnt guarantee Knapp knew about it at the time either, it apparent on this site and listening to other so called experts, there are very few people who know the ins and outs of all the cases.

one thing. this is a guy who can assemble a largish particle accelerator in his garage or a hy fuel car. this is a guy with contracts with big companies and the govt. I do not think money is an issue. "oh; he's poor (is he really?) so he made this up to make money (show evidence he has made money on his story before saying this.)." seems on the face of it to an irrational conclusion since his area 51 stories cause difficulties with his day job.

We can't. It's a theory. But to be honest, I find it far more plausible than the story that Robert Lazar, who ended lower third in college, tells lies about his education, has gone bankrupt for 300.000 dollars and was involved with an illegal brothel, was picked to help reverse engineer an alien craft.

It all seems a bit over the top as well to conceal an affair by appearing on TV and telling a fantastic story that is still being debated 25 years later.

He did his very best to stop it. Only if others, like George, start nagging him, he gives in and retells his story. Also, check out the last interview (see OP), he mentions the reactions of his wife when he received these funny phone calls - how she thought he was having an affair. So, there is some circumstantial evidence from the horses mouth.

Of course you can see how every time this story rears its head on here how viewpoints are divided. So I respect your opinion and the logic to arrive at your conclusion that the story was total BS. Personally though I don't see the hard evidence to convince me beyond reasonable doubt.

I guess you, like many people, simply WANT this to be true. But apply logic: Lazar himself admits he has said a lot of things that don't make any sense at all, his story is full of beserk exceptions to known laws of nature and Lazar is the first to admit this. How convenient: any logical argument against his pack of lies can be refuted quite simply by saying "well, yeah, I don't understand this either, but that is how it was".

Sure. I have a green smurf that lives in my basement, he's 2 inches tall and yesterday he lifted my car that weighs 4000 lbs to help me change a tire. I even have the ticket of the purchase of a new tire - look, here it is, so I'm not lying! You ask how it is that the smurf was not squashed or driven into the soil like a nail in a sponge? Sure, it defies logic and is against any laws of nature. But it's how it was!

Ask me again in 25 years - if i'm still around, I will repeat my story about the green smurf. Does that make it true?

Think again.

Except that Stanton Friedman has also no evidence to show up regarding his "ended lower third in college", either.
Except that you leave out some details on the brothel side story.

But because I write this, I must be a Lazar believer too, I suppose.

And as far as the prediction of the sightings goes, he told George Knapp they would know when traffic near the base was lowest. That was their time frame. They were discovered, too. Wich means that "they" kept either an eye on Lazar or a closer look on the surroundings of the base in that timeframe(or both).

In a way, I do want this to be true. But that is just because I believe that there has to be something out there. It's very similar to religion. You know/feel that there is something out there. So you are open to religious 'stories'.
This Lazar story could confirm that belief, which is nothing short from JC himself being here right now. So yeah, I'm biased, but still aware of my religious fallacy.

he has a business to run, he has his own life, and the last thing he needs is being labeled a conspiracy nutjob. why keep telling the story if it's anything else but the truth?

also, he passed a lie detector test.

Hi. George Knapp here, joining the conversation. Bob is a naturally curious guy, so he had all the same questions you had, wanted to know where all of this came from, but it was a very strict environment with specific protocols about how he was allowed to proceed. No chit chat. Someone was watching his small group at all times and they were followed by armed security everywhere they went. He got most of the answers to his questions in the briefing papers he read, though some of the really big questions were never addressed--specifically, how we got our hands on those craft. He wanted to know but never got that answer.

My friend Stan Friedman has made that allegation about Bob's high school grades many times, but Stan would never allow the use of such information by anyone else if that person could not substantiate such info. What I mean by that is this--I had called the high school several times before Stan knew it existed and asked for Bob's records and the school would not release them. They told me it would be illegal to do so. Stan says they told him all of this info about Bob over the phone, so I called the school again and told them what he had said. The school told me they had never given such info to Stan or anyone else. Now, what are we to do with that allegation? It cannot be substantiated, not the way Stan describes it, and yet Stancontinues to pummel Lazar with it.

Go ahead---ATS members--try it yourself. Call the high school and see if you can get them to tell you what Lazar's grades were. See what they tell you.
