Bob Lazar is a charlatan, huckster, scam-artist - no different than the supposed psychics like Jon Edward. He is very good at what he does - he has a BS story to sell, and sells it well. It's all about $ for these guys. Oh, and Einstein (and thousands of other real scientists) might have a different take on gravity than he does.

I actually do get quite fascinated by this case because I am never quite sure what is true and what is absolute BS about it. I've always respected the man who broke the story, George Knapp, because he's always said there are parts of the story that he can't verify. But there are also things Bob told him that could only have been known by someone who really was involved at Los Alamos and A51.

Even Bob Lazar has hardly tried to cash in on this story himself and made his living in other fields. He tends to be convinced every 5 years or so to do a C2C show with Knapp. But he's hardly made much attempt to cash in on this story compared to others. No book that I am aware of or anything like that.

My inclination is that Bob was exposed to some real and some not so real projects and information. All as part of a test to see if he could keep his mouth shut. And he failed. So we have a hotchpotch story which does not make sense.

As a famous fictional character never said:

“Once you eliminate the proof, whatever remains, no matter how true, must be the improbable.

And that's what the Lazar story is.

Indeed. He will always be a permanent gray area within the UFO topic.

If element 115 worked in the same manner that Lazar speculated then it would also produce antimatter by way of decay which is appartly how the reactor functions. There is no evidence what so ever to substantiate this claim. If it were ever produced in sufficient quantities and if it did indeed somehow manage to release antimatter I don't imagine the people who produced the stuff would be around to measure the effect.

Perhaps he simply WAS cheating on his wife. Occams razor.

This guy is a self-made man, a school drop out, that attended electronics classes and that about is the length of his formal education. The rest is just his imagination, and Bob conveniently can not (nor will) prove any of it.

Bob may well have been employed at area 51. There are thousands working there, perhaps he was one of the hired hands they routinely employ there to clean toilets, work in in the cantina, drive a lorry or help assemble one of the many electronic circuits they build there. There are a lot of contractors there whom vouch for their personnel. Not all of their workers need clearance, many aren't even screened. Screening is a costly business (thousands of dollars each time it is required) and most jobs - even on so called 'top secret' plants - require no special clearance. They have compartimentalisation there, indeed, and yes, Bob picked that up allright.

So, then he meets this lovely lady - and he start cheating on his wife. And she - as he says himself - gets annoyed by the lame excuses he has to "go to work". So, he makes up this fake story, tells it on the radio - all to convince his wife he really, really was innocent - and then suddenly the story grow over his head. What's he to do? He can't say "I made it up". It's too big. So, he keeps a low profile, if asked will tell his old lie again - even he himself now admits that he can't even believe his own stories anymore - and in the meantime lives his life as "normal" as he can under the circumstances.

Nah. Fake.

Sure, so they go outside the base and in the exactly moment and place he predicted a curious 'ship' appears at some distance making incredible maneuvers.

And... it just crushed your entire theory.

still legit in my book. i believe it. the apparent discrepancies i put down to a combination of confusion of detail over time, and plain high strangeness.

ps. has Bob ever been a member here?

I really enjoyed watching that video. Thanks so much for posting.

My impression--and from someone who doesn't know the whole Lazar story like a book---is that there were certain things in his behavior that confused me.

He seemed a lot more at ease and comfortable before he started telling his story. The minute he started telling the story he got a little jumpy, starting looking behind him at the white board more to presumably relieve the intensity of Knapp's gaze and to disassociate every minute or so. I'm not sure why his demeanor changed so much but there's definitely something to it.

I mean, he's been telling this story for years and years. You'd think it would be like reciting the alphabet by now, so why the nervousness?

I felt like he was telling the story for someone else. That he had to make someone else's story his own---as part of some kind of arrangement, and while he knows it well, since it's not his story, it makes him nervous when he tells it.

In the process of making the story his own, he's personalized it. Thus the jokes, the interesting way in which he dumbs down science when he shares it. That's how he's internalized it and adopted it.

I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else?

I like the guy--just right off the bat. There's truth in his story, I just don't know whose truth it is.

Bob comes off as genuine and George Knapp is a straight shooter, but everything else seems like a joke. The golf ball story, or fact they were even left alone to play with this equipment. The fact he didnt immediately disappear the moment he tried to go public, who was really going to miss Bob?

He comes off as above average iq, but no where close to kinds of people they could have found to work on this. And he admits this himself, as an attempt imo to nullify the point, but there is just no way some guy with his qualifications could have ever found himself working on the most desirable tech on the planet. Simply unbelievable.

i don't think so. the lore (and i am not sure if this is directly from Lazar or not) but the lore says it produces antimatter when energized a certain way. if they detect it by looking atthe trail of decay products they would exclude any trails that come from known sources. including antimatter; i mean think of it it's made i n a collider. when ya slam stuff around you'd expect to get some antimatter anyway so it would be filtered from the data. And as i said you would not detect stable atoms of 115 anyway because they do not decay.

so? quantum physicists have a different view of it than Einstein too.

Einstein = spacetime geometry with no bosonic carrier particle.

Quantum physics = graviton exists and is integral to QM/QG.

so disagreement with Einstein is not a valid criterion for rejection of your street cred.

Oh please - do not even attempt to equate Lazar vs Einstein with QM vs Einstein. My point was that this guy has no idea what he's talking about. But, please, do explain why QM is incompatible with general relativity?

i already have. if you think that relativists denying the existence of a key force carrier isn't a big difference i don't know what else to say. relativity works and is a model for the universe. but more than one model can describe the same thing. The prodigious success of relativity theory at describing the universe so far does not in any way mean it is correct about gravitons. Newton explained the universe pretty good too. up to a point. and in that area something new was needed. Turns out that something was relativity. but relativity does not explain everything. there is a point where relativity returns absurdities. it is where these absurdities occur that something new will help complete the picture.

Oh. And i seem to recall the way it is energized (inaccurate term sorry) is probably a slow neutron beam because...

what I have read about this is that the element 115 is temporarily turned into an even heavier but unstable element and when this heavier element decays it is heavily skewed towards antimatter rather than an even mix or a matter heavy decay product.

EDIT: i am not entirely sure what i read said it was skewed towards more antimatter or not. it's been too long. it may have been that it just produces some. anyway in addition to the transmutation for antimatter the 115 itself exposed a (unverified by science) strong force cum gravity field. it is suggested that the shape of the arrangement of nucleons in the nucleus exposes that gravity field. if so related elements would also probably do the same thing feebly. Bismuth could be used to test if that nucleus shape is special WRT gravity thing is true or not if the measuring equipment and set up was sensitive enough to detect any significant anomalous gravity effect.

again i thought that this came from Lazar but it is possible that it didn't based on the lack of detail in the last two videos.

Considering how aggressive the DIA scrubs bits of information on black projects off the net...

I'm wondering how someone like Bob is able to go around and spread his stories. Why hasn't the guy had his brain scrambled? Why hasn't he been paid handsomely to stay quiet, or been scared/intimidated into silence?

To be perfectly honest due to situations I've been through in my life I am a very skilled liar if I want to be and as such can see through other lies easily.

There is many points in this as I stare at Lazars expressions, mannerisms, ticks, etc with my built in lie detection on high where I believe he's lying outright or fabricated proviously / on the spot. This is easy to do if you're quick thinker with a big imagination.

I could make up a similar story in my head in my free time and go over it and over it until I can almost recall my story as if it really happened therefore making myself feel as though I'm not lying if I were to be questioned like that.

If that makes sense. And for the record I gained this skill out of justified survival and not out of being a lying ass for no reason or personal gain. Long story.

He may well be a liar. but He covered no new ground in these videos. i don't really even know what the point of the videos was. he essentially offered no new details that i could discern. he did not even cover most of the technical stuff he had already covered. because there was no new stuff here he obviously didn't make up anything on the spot because it would all have been made up beginning 25 years ago. So there would be no body language, eye movement or verbal "tells" for improvisional lies.

That got me thinking about it... what is new in these videos? was anything? did he cover the hand repulsion thing? the golf ball? the LA facility storing the element 115 supply and shipping samples as needed? is that new? i don't remember. but i think it was all pretty much covered in previous videos?

Ever heard of isotopes? It´s even crudely explained in the video what they are and how to get them, decay chain etc. You may want to take some 5th class physic lessons before you say something like that with that much certainity

Yes thank you i am aware of what a variant of an an element with different number of Neutrons is or Isotope. Ever herd of manners? May i suggest you actually attend school and learn some. LoL

I am also aware of how Lazar describes the function of the reactor with regards to the introduction of said element and decay chain. Its the production of antimatter i have a problem getting my head around. Lazar also claims the element is stable when in reality the Isotope of element 115, produced by bombarding Americium-243 with a Calcium-48 rapidly decays into element 113 before continuing to decay until it becomes a meta-stable isotope.

I would love what the dude claims to be true, but just does not seem to be the case.

if you are aware of isotopes then you know that there are likely multiple "species" of element 115. not just one.

EDIT: if my memory is not faulty The detection of element 115 involved discovering two unstable isotopes of it. so it has at least two verified isotopes already.

and if you are aware of decay chains you would also know that instruments set up to detect them will not detect stable atoms. so that experiment could have produced stable isotopes.

even if it did not produce stable isotopes then different impact energies, different heavy nuclei even different trajectory angles could still do so.

Furthermore the unstable bits they did make were not around long enough to learn much more than they had succeeded. for example until just recently basic facts about the properties of antimatter were unknown after more than a century of knowing it existed for the same darned reason. because we couldn't make much of it and it was not around long enough to perform basic measurement on. like does it fall up or not. theory was one thing (it should fall down just like normal matter) but observing it falling one way or another was beyond the reach of science.

so in summary the production of element 115 in no way nullifies Lazar's claims about it. In fact the one item that did get verified is that element 115 exists. it's not very strong evidence for Lazar's case but it is the only thing of note that has been verified one way or another concerning element 115. it is not strong because anyone who had even slightly competent science teachers in high school as long as 30 years ago knew scientists expected an island of stability in the super heavies of the periodic table. Therefore Lazar would not need special access to such materials to posit that element 115 exists or could be stable.

He talks about the "Island of Stability" about Element 115 several times, people choose to ignore anything scientific he has to say.

For instance, he mentioned in videos that Element 115 isn't just "ONE SPECIFIC KIND", there are many variations of it. And theoretically, there is an "Island of Stability" between Element 115 and Element 116 where the element in question becomes stable and no longer decays.

He is saying, the Aliens had this "Particular" Element 115 on board. Not the ones we've synthesized in 2004 where it could only last for seconds or milliseconds.

Also, 500 pounds of it sounds either like it is intentionally fabricated by extraterrestrials or it's actually a naturally reoccurring element in other parts of the cosmos.

In my personal opinion, I think Lazar maybe some kind of government paid shill. Like one of the greatest misdirection tactics.

Makes everyone and their cousins to focus on Area 51 and S4, perhaps the real happenings is elsewhere.

Perhaps the story was leaked intentionally within the government to create distraction stories from secret tech. Who knows.

But I don't like it when people flat out calling Bob Lazar a liar, as if anything and everything he said was false, that's simply not true.
