its a religion

How can a scientific theory be religion?

re·li·gion
rəˈlijən/
noun
noun: religion

the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

Does theory of evolution include gods?

It seems as though you are confusing the word evidence with the word proof. Evidence is not proof and proof is not evidence. There is more evidence in support of evolution than there is evidence in support of the creation account in Genesis, but there is no proof per se of either. Evolution has the entire fossil record containing thousands if not millions of different fossils and species, the creation account in Genesis has... well, itself. That's it.

Evidence is not proof, the account in Genesis is evidence of creationism, but it is very flimsy evidence that has nothing to back it up other than pastors and preachers regurgitating the same arguments over and over again. The evidence of the creation account in Genesis is not proof, just as the fossil record is not proof of evolution. But taking into account the amount of evidence in favor of each side, the evidence seems to weigh heavily on the side of the theory (not fact) of evolution.

Again, evidence is not proof. You have a hard time distinguishing between them it seems.

There is nothing I could say that would change your mind.
Be it sufficient if you were really interested would look for yourself, you wont so why should i

Evolution theology is a religion, I have studied it. i am content

Believe what you will, its your free choice.

and cutting and pasting a single definition that suits your agenda, very clever, misrepresentation but very clever

I stand corrected. You don't really read.

Apparently you do not understand the difference between evidence and proof. Like I said you do not really read and study.

Proof is for mathematics.

Here's a simple question: what simple evidence is there for gravitational theory? Yep you got that right... apples fall from trees. Scientists measure and observe.

And here's the clincher... the experiment can be repeated.

I'll stop as I think it goes way over your head. I'll let you have this soak in your head slowly.

You could even prove him wrong and I would have to join your ranks of the scientific religious

This means that your whole belief is based on Kent Hovind's videos.

I just watched the movie Troy. If you don't prove it wrong then my belief on Zeus is right and every other belief is wrong.

Prove it wrong and I'll join your creationist museum where we can talk about how Adam was able to climb on a T-Rex and how Eve beat him by climbing on a Brachiosaurus.

If you want to believe in Zeus thats fine.
Why would I want to rain on your playground, its your faith, good for you.

I am asking evolutionists for proof (not just evidence) because they call it a science, if its valid they have it or will eventualy get it
Yours like mine is a faith, well done you

and no my beliefs are not based on KH videos, thats just dumb

You sound like an adult to a degree, place a drop of thought into your posts, it might help gain you respect

What agenda? We have a dictionary for a reason. You said the theory of evolution is a religion and I have shown you that you are mistaken.

Be it sufficient if you were really interested would look for yourself, you wont so why should i

I grew up in a conservative baptist family. We have had Kent Hovind and Ken Ham come to our churches and lecture. I've graduated from Liberty University and took a Evolution vs. Creationism class. Believe me I've been through it all.

Oh wow you can't be this serious.

Ok I'll play this game. Can you prove that Genesis happened? In the words of Ken Ham - "YOU WEREN'T THERE!"

evidently.... as I have said all along (keeping up) I cant prove it, thats why I accept my belief is a faith, no scientific proof. I never claimed it was anything else

now the game was

You are too hung up on evidence vs. proof.

Let's play your game further... can you prove to me that we don't live in matrix? What if what you were taught all your life was false?

See I can play this game with you.

If faith is belief without proof then I would say that the "faith" (at least in your opinion) that some people have in evolution has a much stronger foundation than that of creationism based on the mountain of evidence that supports it.

Creationism has Genesis.

Evolution has the entire fossil record.

Which foundation is stronger? The one with the most evidence in support of it.

I had the "pleasure" of meeting him in Pensacola about 11 years ago. Honestly, he gave me the creeps. After I recognized him, he started talking in hushed tones like he didn't want anyone knowing who he was.

The entire fossil record, in its entirety???

So you agree with me, evolution is a faith.

I agree
