Thank God he finally got out! Now he can go right back to exposing the big fat lie that is evolution. One great thing about his being being in prison is that he led many inmates to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

I've seen Hovind get his ass handed to him in more than one debate, but even I will say, I'm not so sure he did what he was accused of. I don't know if he pissed someone off more powerful than him, or if maybe he threatened to open his mouth about something he wasn't supposed to. I do know the guy is way off base when it comes to evolution, from what I've seen and heard.

Nevertheless, I'm glad he's out. Prisons don't reform people. They destroy them.

If you can't distinguish the lie of the theory of evolution from researching the tons of proof and facts out there, how in the world is little ol' me going to teach you anything? It's a compliment that you put that much confidence in me, but I don't think I can help you. Sorry!

Look, you don't have to convince me and I don't want to put that much pressure on you, but one thing I hate about these threads is that, usually creationists will just put forth a statement like you did, but no follow up. All I really want from you is a quick summary of what you think trumps evolution. Just for the sake of discussion. I see tons of evolutionary science and fossils and some of that stuff is really good and intriguing and I also see stuff that makes me question things, but then If I look at Genesis, there isn't anything better there.

I just watched the movie Troy. If you don't prove it wrong then my belief on Zeus is right and every other belief is wrong.

Prove it wrong and I'll join your creationist museum where we can talk about how Adam was able to climb on a T-Rex and how Eve beat him by climbing on a Brachiosaurus.

Hovind committed a crime in not submmiting W2's or 1099 for those employed and getting funds through his ministry, and for not collecting the IRS taxes as mandated under his 501c at that time.

Guilty, served his time and now released.

The question is, Is he repentant and will now do as mandated by Scriptures to Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 1Pe 2:13?

Because that is what he failed to follow to begin with.

Pretty sure sarcasm is usually used to deride a point of view as a result of an abundance of confidence in the contrary position.

For example..

It's a perfect example of what happens when you listen to someone who made it in The Encyclopedia of American Loons!

Diagnosis: Hovind is a riot of insanity, ignorance, crackpottery, delusion, lunacy and idiocy. Thus, he has had rather far-reaching influence. His jail-time may have halted his career, and he seems to have grown even more unhinged during his time in prison. What happens when he is let out in 2015 will be interesting.
