Simply search Kent hovind is an idiot on youtube, there will probably be too many videos for me to name, but any should do. Creationism Is a childish and desperate attempt to skew and mislead people into disagreeing with the science which conflicts with there beloved beliefs. It is all second hand information, hearsay, all written by mortal men (there is no proof otherwise). A book you call the bible isn't proof of anything. You simply have faith that what is in it is truth. That is very dangerous. People like Kent are very dangerous. People that follow people like Kent are very dangerous..

There is a mountain more evidence of the existence of aliens and UFOs from another planet/dimension than there is of anything in the bible. I don't need to know the personal inner workings of Kent to dispel any argument here on his faith because I already know the root of his faith.

Technically it can't be proven that the earth isn't the center of the universe. That doesn't make Kent right about any second hand stories of fantasy from a book written by men that didn't even know the earth was round. Oh god, let me guess, here it comes.. ' There is no proof that the earth is round'. LOL

And in response to another post, there are lots of things I don't agree that should be paid for with my taxes but I still understand why I pay them.

Just because the criminal Hovind doesn't agree with helping kids evolve in their learning and not keeping them in the dark ages is no good reason to not pay them.

If there is any intolerance it's about the insistence of a very small minority of "christians" that creationism is fact when this "fact" is baseless except for what's written in the bible.
It's not an intolerance of Christians in the slightest irrespective of how persecuted you want them to appear.
The cold, hard truth is that creationists onlyhave their opinions but "evolutionists" (aka science) have their facts.
That's the be-all and end-all of the alleged debate.

No the problem is that some people despite being shown thousands of pieces of evidence refuse to acknowledge them and then continue making dumb arse threads.
People are sick of the ignorance shown by those posters, I tip my hat to so many on here because they take the time to show evidence and attempt to teach us who are not scientists actual science, they continue to try despite their being no point trying because they just do not accept any evidence.

The worst thing about ANYONE that preaches "truth" is that they are preaching their truth. I have never understood why they are not OK with must knowing the truth themselves and shutting their holes around others.

Sure, if people seek you out and want to drink the kool aide youre serving then go for it. When you hurt those people because of your actions then I truly hope responsibility is owned.

There is inherent danger in teaching people "truths" than can only be measured by faith alone. While faith, in general, is not a bad thing, blind faith is. It is human nature to question everything....it is how we learn and grow. If you quit learning or growing because there is nothing to question, because of faith, then you have lost all respect for yourself.
