It was the same, story with Bush, truth is our leadership makes the best possible choices with the best information at hand, many times faced with huge moral choices that are caught 22 s. In highnsight it's easy to say see you shouldn't have done x, when in reality given the same, circumstance and, responsibility we would make the same choice.

I'm still not convinced Obama is even bombing ISIS.

There's something hidden and something suspicious going on.

well of course there is, why would your simple comment get so many stars if there wasn't?....I mean the words "Obama", "hidden", and "suspicious", is enough for a lot of members

But what about the natural gas pipelines?

There's trillions of dollars worth of gas just sitting waiting to be sold to Europe !!!

Qatar has the goods. So does Iran. Who do you think will win?

Except Iraq. People wanted to make big money. And they did. Look who made profit and you can see why the war started.

Though the responsibility of that is not just on Bush but all the advisor’s and politicians around him that facilitated it.

And really thats the same with Obama. His blunders are not just on him but also down to the advisor’s and politicians around him too.

Does this count?

Oh, and for those of you who can't see videos, it is an ISIS cannon (in Iraq) being hit by an American airstrike.

I don't get it. Did they see it coming and all clear out except for the camera guy?

This looks really staged. There is an obvious cut before the bomb hits. There were people everywhere before the cut and no one to be seen afterwords.

I'm not at all familiar with the source. Just my 2c on the video.

Edit. There is the one guy in the foreground who does seem to be anticipating the strike.

What you're saying is that because the region is becoming more and more unstable, this is a good thing?

Even though it will just breed more hate and violence? I don't understand your logic...

Yes. The U.S. has a more successful history of making change with destabilizing countries rather than pummeling a country into change.

Obama is pulling a Salvor Hardin and I applaud it. The only exception is that Salvor brought religion for us conveniently enough the religion is already there.

I'm not an Obama fan, but when I compliment him I feel a need to drink 20 dos xx.

They knew what was coming the minute they heard the Jet flying above them.

You would clear out as well if you knew what was good for you. ~$heopleNation

I'm not a soldier. That's why I ask the question. I would think we can get a warhead on target quick enough to prevent everyone running away.

I had a jet fly overhead today, blue angels I think, and by the time I heard the sound it was already leaving.

I'm surprised that these weapon systems give that much warning.

Not even close to the first time I'm wrong.

Or they may have seen it as well. They have guys scouting the air above them all day long. It was obvious in the video that they knew what was coming. ~$heopleNation

I and my family could have sure used our portion of our hard earned tax dollars that bought that equipment to pay our debts and pursue happiness. Heck my wife still owes thousands and thousands on her student loan we could have use our money for that instead of useless Iraqi's and now ISIS.

US government is totally mishandling...everything. Just leave and let it rot. No more blood and no more money.

To the victors go the spoils. Which is fine, if you're the victor.

Not so fun from the other side.

Scenes like this have unfolded in pretty much every major battle the USA ever lost.

OP: Would you be so kind as to provide a source for the pics you included?

I went to the links you provided and they are not on those sources.

I'd like to put everything in proper context before I come to any conclusions.

Thanks.

Fine, so they can operate these weapons.
The larger point is how can we continue to allow the Obama administration to keep arming Islamic radicals?
He did in Libya to overthrow Qaddafi, then sending arms from Libya to Syria trying to take down Assad.
Now we're probably giving arms to ISIS.
