Watching ATS come around to the truth sutrounding ISIS, almost makes me forget about the shrewd and condascending history lessons I and others on ATS had to endure when ISIS first started making headlines. Not quite forgotten, but almost.

ISIS is a bold move but not by Islamist extremists, by our guys. Our guys have done this before. Many times, it's sortnof what we do because nobody showed us a way that works better.

ISIS is special in it's kind though. It is not some event or scandle that is being covered. It is a real time and full time operation. There is not just risk of finding out what they have done - it is what they are doing, it's channels that are presently open to do more. The hand behind ISIS does not give a *snip* that we are watching them and/or suspicious of them.

I'm not even convinced there was a point to any of this beyond testing a new machine. Fire it up, make sure it runs, look for cracks in the hoses. Then put her away till you need her.

For a bunch of US dummies like most on this thread portray us, the US is almost godlike in it's worldwide manipulation and control.

That must make you and the rest of the world what then?

The fact that such vast quantities of military equipment and vehicles go "missing" during invasions and occupations, immediately and completely discredit any so-called "justified war."

Here's some ATS threads some of you may remember.

Check out the last page, especially.

2007 $1B In Military Equipment Missing In Iraq

2010 Probe Launched Into 500 Missing Nato Vehicles

Well if that was really the original intention, apparently it worked on you my friend! So speak up for yourself and what you believe in then. All opinions heard are exactly what we need these days.

Yeah, there were three cuts. You're right from what I can tell, they knew about it before it got too close and cleared out.
Anyway, that's fair enough, what would convince you?

Let me get this straight: ISIS is photographed with expensive military equipment and the first thing you do is blame President Obama? Why not ask how they really got them and blame whoever funds them? Or blame the international media for constantly showing ISIS's propaganda (like this), which helps their recruiting?

On a US military base, on the streets of Ferguson, and now rolling through Iraq in the hands of foreign militants. It doesn't matter who is left alive, and who is left to suffer; the industrial military complex are the real winners.

Who said anything about the US?

If I wanted to talk about the UK's rabid pitbull, I would have called the bitch by name.

Theyre a British and American co-ordinated destabilisation force that uses an insane fatalist Saudi ideology for recruitment whose job is to topple islamic governments on our behalf when we can't be seen to be openly doing it.

When you see Obama and Cameron, even the royals bowing and scraping while attending the Saudi king's funeral when we all know that family is directly responsible for the spread of Wahabbism, something is very wrong.

It's not in our interests to destroy them which is why extremist recruiters operate with impunity in the UK.

5 different ex military personnel have told me similar things privately on separate occassions, I have no reason to doubt them at all.

Do you find it odd they are going after governments and fully destroying them so there is nothing left? Who or what do you think will fill the void if the people believe they need government?

Jesus...Contrary to Dick Cheneys best efforts...Iraq is not Florida...I am confused why you are throwing a tantrum that the President of the UNITED STATES is not bombing ISIS in Iraq quickly enough for your liking? Does Iraq now belong to the USA?...ditto the middle east...At what point is it rational to expect the Middle East governments to spend some of the Trillions of dollars we have paid them for oil to actually take out their own garbage once in a while?

Honestly...(A) Isis establishes a geographic state...then we have a place to bomb the hell out of (B) Iraq and other middle eastern countries start to defend their own backyards rather than bitching to the USA to help...and then immediately blaming the USA for interfering...Or often both simultaneously...like Pakistan, who signs agreements allowing the USA to drone AQ in Pakistan while telling their own public how evil the USA is.

Iraq has purchased hundreds of US made ground vehicles. Several Iraqi divisions were trained under US military standards as well as NATO standards. More than likely the vehicles you see in the pictures of Ramadi were abandoned by Iraqi military as they were being overran. It could also be a motorpool of already disabled vehicles. A lot of possible answers here.

That is all the equipment we left for the Iraqi army when Obama tucked tail and ran out of Iraq. Somebody forgot to tell him all the senior old Iraqi military leaders were on the other side waiting to go grab it all.

after the airstrikes that they are going to receive in the next week or so. Most of that equipment will be fit for nothing but scrap.

Yeah Iv'e heard that before somewhere... Oh it was about 5 months ago when they had these same vehicles & equipment. It seems there have been hundreds of airstrikes since but ISIS & this equipment just keep on coming.

How do we not rig these things with remote "kill switches" or "Hellfire" GPS activators?

Will the Military Industrial Complex void all our warranties if we do? Is that why?
