It would be beyond intruiging if true! I'm stoked I be on ats right now and apart of this unfolding of events. The maturity level I the individual strikes me though, from referring to illegally downloaded music, common knowledge of Colbert and game of thrones, the need to say he brought a bunch of porn into the bunker with children, talking about turning the bunker into weed farms, these would not be characteristics of a person with a decade of prepping and planning. If it took a decade to prepare a multimillion dollar bunker I'm assuming alone to not reveal the location, this john character in my opinion would go about those things differently. Maybe he's just trying to add a flare of humor to the situation. If I were a prepper, a real prepper I would not be on illegal websites downloading porn and music. Being able to go off the grid would require specific planning, man hours, a keen mind, and a big shovel. The shaft was 280 feet he says? So 28 stories of just the front door, along with an underground structure that holds multiple gardens, area for humans, an area for "small game", trench to bring power cables from hydroelectric power. How long do you think this all takes one man let alone his family. If he planned this bunker so well and so far off the beaten path how were some meddling kids able to find the front door?

I was being facetious. No doubt this is a bs story.

The thing is, the world actually did end. It has several times, in fact. Its just that our collective consciousness shifts to the "nearest" dimension. Most times this shift is all but imperceptible, with our consciousness moving to a dimension wherein even the most minute details are unchanged, but sometimes imperfections and anomalies occur. So you see, "The World" can never actually end, we just shift to the next almost identical dimension. Or something like that but probably not.

I'm actually still inside my bunker. Unlike the OP, I also have hydro power, as well as a huge array of solar panels and ethernet coming into the bunker plenty enough to charge/power a small netbook and cell phones, so if the world ever ended, I would be able to stay online and check the internet until it's demise.

I guess I should probably come out now, as I've run out of milk.

At first this sounded promising...but then questions flooded my brain as well...I think this is completely made up. If you were "wealthy" why didn't the other wealthy people of the world hide out? Maybe you are just way over paranoid and should go see a psychiatrist before you ruin the lives of your family again...I would be furious if my father wasted years of my life that I couldn't get back. Like what was said before, there wasn't anything that gave you the go ahead to seal your family for years. This leads me to believe the entire story was fabricated for attention or entertainment.

Why would you promote the wealthy guy to go and get even more money? So that the rich can have bunkers while us peons get to watch the "end" of the world? Not having the money for a bunker forces me to accept reality and know that I will die with the rest of my family. Having money to blow on a bunker I believe would also make it easier for me to be paranoid and implement measures to protect my family. Blah.

Nothing like being stuck in a tiny bunker with the whole family watching some porn.

Im going with the OP (now banned) being released from prison, Did 2 and a half years of a 3 year sentence.
