How do they "lie in unison"? That would suggest there's some huge conspiracy of multiple nations and independent companies to report only what some mysterious person at the top wants them to report. Now, it's certainly true the many news agencies simply parrot what Reuters puts out, but I think that is mainly a sign of laziness, and not complicity in some larger conspiracy.

I agree that most American news agencies aren't trustworthy, which is why I specifically said Al-Jazeera would be a good source alternative. What of the other Western nations that strangely don't report the same things RT does? Are they controlled by this single entity as well?

Well I cant entirely speak much for other countries, as much as im aware of what may happen in them I know little about their corporate infrastructure however the BBC here in the UK is the single largest news company on the planet and it serves as nothing more than a propaganda wing of the government and the crown, it is tax payer funded state media.

Our newspapers are operated in a similar fashion controlled by a cabal of right wing privately educated businessmen with cloes ties to government.

And as such we are always ideologicaly aligned with American foreign policy, so yeah, our governments pretty much conspire with each other to control the media that we see, most very few countries really have a free press anymore.

Medialens might be an interesting source, but I struggle to believe much of what GlobalResearch has to say, considering it's past forays into conspiracy territory (and taking it as 100% fact) such as this piece on chemtrails and this article denying the Bosnian genocide.

There's also this article purporting that vaccines are a government conspiracy to kill or retard children.

It`s just a matter of having own knowledge to dissect what news is solid and what is not, using your brain when reading and not being biased because your full of frustration (for whatever reason) which need a way out to cloud your judgement...a lot of people have a whole lot of frustration in them which needs to finds its way out, towards hippies, socialists, republicans, etc., and with that your not able to see things for what they are because you have a prejudice...

...and don`t believe too quickly if you read something, no matter how logical something might sound, it doesn`t have to be true...most of the time it`s the illogical things which tell the story...the inconsistencies give away the lies.

These days on this board...... None. As I said earlier neither side will accept anything from other but I will say something, it is research things yourself and draw your own conclusions. Don't rely on other members to make your mind up for you. Especially if they just comment to attack the source and run.
