That sure is winning the hearts and minds of the local people....
IM tired of trying to win their hearts and minds. Putting bullets in their hearts and minds will end terrorism.

They didn't get over cartoons very well.
EAST VILLAGE — A popular mosque and Islamic community center is drawing a steady stream of cabs that clog streets and flout parking rules so their drivers can attend prayer services, according to local business owners and residents.
“If you get stuck, you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes until they finish praying,” said De Robertis, who has learned to plan his deliveries of baking supplies around the mosque’s five daily services.

Don't you people know that it's bad taste to be a proud American anywhere these days hell you can't even show your pride in schools in America without some group saying its racist or wrong.
Its very poor taste when a soldier from an invading force is in a foreign country playing his own national anthem during the native peoples prayer time.
Why cant you see that, what makes it difficult to understand respect rather than antagonising others.
Please be proud of your country (though I dont know why you would be if all I read on ats is true)
You know its not unpatriotic to say we have lost our direction, we need to find our way again?
Be proud of your service men, just dont go upsetting people because you have more guns and want to be arrogant.
Its very bad taste to force your beliefs on others, that is what he is over there trying to stop.

seeing that before the U.S. and the coalition forces went into afghanistan and removed the taliban from power and made them just another terrorist group, and stopped the war on women that they were waging. you know, the beating them with sticks or killing them for leaving the house without a male escort from their family, or cutting of their fingers for wearing nail polish, or killing little girls that wanted to go to school, beating men for letting their female family do these things, or not wearing a bread, no tv, radio, internet, and a whole host of other things that they said violated sharia law. while they profited from the sale of opium poppy sales being the big hypocrites that they are.
just check out the talibans human violations that were filed before the U.S. and the coalition forces went into Afghanistan.
knowing all that, i think that they could bear just a couple minutes to honor one of the countries that help put a stop to all that, without being offend. it they can't pull all the troops that are going to be left as support for the Afghan government, military and police force and watch how fast the taliban or isis come back or move in and take over. just like Iraq

Fact remains that they will kill over one not having the same ideology and as they do. They don't need a reason such as the cartoon, etc........ It's a no win unless you think the same way they do. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is very true. I am freinds with Afghani's who had to flee the country, and freinds with Afghani's who never left. ALL of the one's I spoke to were so sick and tired of living under threat of death.. and ALL of them I know wanted the US there to get rid of the Taliban.
Its all that I know... I know some don't want the US there anymore because the taliban is still there and they are getting war weary, but no one but the taliban and their sympathisers want the taliban in power.
Life under them was a living hell.
