Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc are more than their religious text though, even as a staunch atheist I understand that their religion is also an IDEOLOGY. More than the silly rules their respective books lay down, they subscribe to the ideology of the religion, and the more moderate among them take the good, and disregard the bad. It's a moral compass for many of them, with the particulars of the texts being discarded as silly ancient stuff that doesn't apply to the modern world.

If you ever drink at all you a bs muslim...
Judge much?
Islam states this as one of its pillars, how am I judging?
It is a fact.
No muslim is aloud to to drink alcohol ever, for any reason.
If he drinks and wants to drink he is not a muslim thus is full of bs.
Lots of Muslims who consider themselves very Muslim drink.
That is like calling yourself christian and breaking all tje ten commandmets, minus the forgiveness.
Muslims are banned, point blank, no arguement, no but ifs, no extenuating cases from ever drinking alcohol.
If they drink alcohol they are not muslim by the muslim faiths rules.
If they drink alcohol, they are not muslim, that is a fact.
Yet, millions of christians do it every week. Does that make them less Christian?
If they want to claim their religion yes....they are all bs to me since they only count when convenient. Which is the exact oposite of what believers are supposed to do.
Look either follow your rules for your bs religion or admit it is bs....choose.
I chose long ago, thay are all excuses for bs, as all "true believers" in any of them are full of the #e.
Follow its rules or donr claim it.
Just be honest.
Muslim but drink and or like bacon is not muslim.
Catholic but cheat on your wife is not catholic...
Be honest, stop the bs, and I wont call you guys out for it.
I am agnostic, because I cheat drink and eat bacon....this makes me more honest than most devoutly religious aholes.
I have no problem being honest, because I dont claim bs I cant live up to.....
Is this so hard?
If you eat pork or drink you arent muslim..
If you break the ten commandments you arent a christian....
Just be honest with yourself and the world.....how hard is it?

Those examples aren't faithful people, they're people with problems using religion as a shield.
Both are, in my mind. You take the good with the bad. You're a moderate Muslim who drinks occasionally, but you're still a Muslim. They're violent Muslims who murder people for capricious reasons, but they're still Muslims.

(Reuters) - Nigerian ground forces backed by air strikes are fighting to reclaim Baga from Islamist militant group Boko Haram which seized the northeastern town and a nearby military base at the weekend, a government spokesman said on Friday.
"Since the first attack last weekend on Baga, security forces have been actively pursuing the militants," Mike Omeri said in a statement. "Security forces have responded rapidly, and have deployed significant military assets and conducted air strikes."
At least 100 people were killed when Boko Haram attacked Baga last weekend, according to the district head.
Witnesses who escaped to neighboring towns and Borno state capital Maiduguri said the insurgents had razed many buildings and homes and killed dozens of civilians in subsequent raids this week.
Soldiers had fled the area after the nearby army base, which is the headquarters of a multinational force comprising troops from Chad, Niger and Cameroon, by Lake Chad was overrun.
Some 300 km (200 miles) away, on Friday evening, gunfire, explosions and heavy artillery fire were heard on the outskirts of Yobe state capital Damaturu.
"We can hear the artillery fire and then the ground shaking," a Reuters cameraman said.
Boko Haram has been waging a 5-year insurgency to carve out an Islamic state in northeastern Nigeria.
Government spokesman Omeri said the National Emergency Management Agency, working with the Red Cross, was providing humanitarian assistance to 2,000 people who had fled Baga.
Some 2,000 more people crossed the border to Chad over the last week, prompting the country to call for international aid. Cameroon has also appealed for aid to help fight the militants.

A man can eat bacon and still be a good Muslim.
A man can wear polyester and still be a good Christian.
A man can eat Shellfish and still be a good Jew.
It's about the ideology, not the text that spawned the ideology.

Jesus was a Jew, who came to abrogate the Laws of Abraham & Moses...
He was not a Christian, Christianity and the word Christ didn't exist until he passed away...
Thirdly, anyone who "Submits will to God", is by definition a Muslim.
Jesus was a Prophet who followed on from Abraham & Moses, who believed in 1 God, in a time of Paganism.
Tell me where in the Bible Jesus says that he is not a Jew?
