That is very freaky. Looks like a leaf on the left of your hatchling as well.

Looks like few shells and odd shaped rocks here, quite a few. I have rotated the picture for a better perspective and then chopped off the bottom. I have highlighted 4 objects (rocks) for you to see.

The bottom box and middle box look like shells. The other 2 boxes on the right look like maybe casing left over from a millipede type creature. Obviously, shells and casings would have to be very hard, maybe rock hard (sorry, couldnt resist), and these would stand the test of time if in the right place out of the way of the wind and dust.

Maybe its angles and shadows but these rocks look to me like man-made cuts, and they were part of something bigger. Like a wall for example. Again, i'v rotated the picture for better view.

It looks like that area was cleaned with the brush and then they used the laser to analyse the rock.

Not quite, but almost, another finger impersonating rock.

Tell me that you can see weird things in this image. A boner creature, a sword, an ugly reptile and a nest...

I don't care that it's a natural formation. It's still freakin' awesome.

In the bottom box on this photo, looks like a hinge with a slight twist in it, and what seems to be a 6-sided shape on top of it. There is also a 5-sided shape in the top box. A nut maybe?

The picture. From Sol 1095

It's worthwhile to find this stuff, and you've put some interesting objects on the thread, but please maybe take into consideration that this is an anomalies thread, and those are of course obviously rocks, and not even oddly shaped rocks. I guess I see this thread as almost of a professional level but with sidelines into fun and humor at times, but I really believe researchers are going to be looking at these threads in the future, especially if one of our finds turns out to be the real thing (a fossil of a exomarine creature). Not to discourage, but maybe consider raising the bar a little. Thanks.

Thanks, I was worried I may have offended you or overreached. I guess I do care about this thread, and judging from what some of the news media has labeled "mars anomalies" lately there seems to be an effort not to report on the possible fossils but on nonsense like woman-ghost-walking-on-Mars. Nonsense is fine, and I bath in it every day, but with editors like BlueShift coming up with very real possibilities of past life on Mars it is very interesting to see that the media has reported on the obviously 'rocks' (even when one of his spoke creatures was photoshopped into an octopus or spider or whatnot, the media covered the photoshop and not the original). Maybe I'm overly overimportantington the value of this thread, yet seeing it evolve since January 1, 2014, and the really good possibilities that Curiosity has floated past and photographed, when something undeniable is spotted it may very well look like something one of this thread's editors have been pointing out for a long time. My apologies for taking some of my disillusionment about how the media has portrayed our marslusions out on a new fellow-well-met here. Thanks for letting me vent.
