Any link to info in regards to the source sequence? Very curious as to the time frame. Good find! Very interesting blip/anomoly. Also corious to how many of the three frames includes it as it appears to flash in the sequence.

Here's another image of a similar if not another view of the same one. Says its an image artifact due to cosmic rays but very cool nonetheless. ..

The very simple fact is this....... Nobody will believe it until the government confirms it. You have seen the reaction to Snowden, to police violence by the majority of Republicans, the complacency and indifference by the large majority of Americans to our ever eroding liberty, civil freedom and democracy.

What in the hell makes you think the average American will believe anything that doesn't come from Meagan Kelly or CNN?

An unknown light or reflection on the horizon should be a good start for a new anomalies thread in 2015.

I'm glad someone came up with the idea to turn the page and create a new post. Hopefully, this year will bring even better and more impressive imagery than 2014!

I'll jump on this one early. The previous one was a good one. As for those lights I don't really have a good idea about what they could be.

Three images and a white pixel in one of them? It can be any thing.

Now, if the white pixel appeared in two and on the same place, that would be interesting.

A new thread for 2015, a clean slate and thousands of posts ahead of us.

Here is the 2014 Mars anomalies thread, started January 1, 2014:

Do all gamma ray strikes show up as white? Because here's a black one from the same sequence of photos on Sol 854:

maybe it was an anti-gamma-ray strike , hence the switching of colors

Or if it was also in the Right Navcam image at the same time. But they didn't upload that one. What are they hiding!?

Now that is what I call a good eye. The movement you point out is not from a change in camera perspective, right?

This page doesn't yet feel like the anomalies page to me, probably because the OP is not really a formal page introduction. Can the OP maybe write up a page intro and ask an admin to insert it in the OP, maybe with a link to the 2014 anomalies page and an intro about what we are doing here (not the meaning of life, but what we are doing on this thread). Thanks.

Nice, find, but I don't think there are other moving things on those images, all other cases appear to be just a result of the change of light.

Another white speck in the sky. I wonder if instead of a cosmic ray it could be some kind of meteorite.
