I heard Spark Street not Rideau. And I have no problem in posting places where people should be avoiding.

Ottawa Police confirm shooting incidents at Parliament Hill, the War Memorial, the Rideau Centre shopping mall.

www.cbc.ca...

Oh no, I hadn't heard about a shooting at the shopping mall.

The Rideau Center is the confirmed third shooting scene. It is a shopping center located just kitty corner from the Chateau Laurier on the corner of Wellington Street and Sussex Drive, to the east of the war memorial. The National Defense HQ opens directly across the street from the rear second floor of the Rideau Center. There are many exits from the Rideau Center. It is still a fluid situation.

Should be pointed out that the shooting at the Rideau Center was reported after suspect #1 was reported Dead. Whatever's going on it's becoming painfully apparent that this is not a lone-gunman type of scenario.

Scott Walsh, who was working on Parliament Hill, said he saw a man running with a double-barrelled shotgun, wearing a scarf and blue jeans. Walsh said the man hopped over the stone fence that surrounds Parliament Hill, with his gun forcing someone out of their car. He then drove to the front doors of Parliament and fired at least two shot, Walsh said.

Pardon? What does what have to do with what? I just responded to someone trying to make a point about nothing.

Police have confirmed Rideau though...

...

And this is why breaking news can sometimes be wrong. So much information floating around all at once.

Stop you willfully ignorant canadians that i have much compassion for in this situation and the strife your country will undoubtably continue to experience, this is a terroist attack. ( im sorry) its time to stand up as a culture we've done this before but its time the west puts an end to this douchebaggery.

Nope, just point out your hypocrisy.

Just because it is religion, it makes it okay to say 1.6 billion are terrorist? why aren't we attacked by all those 1.6 billion? i wonder why all the muslims kids i went to school with from kidergarten to university havn't murdered me yet or try to convert or abused their girl friends... lol

Crazy people do crazy things, they belong in every group. The smart thing is to look at people as individual and not a collective, but it seems you have not acquired those skills to differentiate.
