I read where the gunman in Parliament was shot by the sergeant at arms. If they meant THE sergeant at arms, then it was this guy:


Kevin Vickers.


He does not look like a man to be trifled with.

The Chateau Laurier is next to the parliament buildings, and the war memorial is between them across the street. CBC reporting numerous gunmen.

Whoever posted about Mumbai-style attack seems to be correct, imo.

It was in fact Kevin Vickers who shot the suspect. It was just reported on CJAD 800.

He's a legendary Canadian Sharpshooter.

Well, Canada, like Scandinavia, is anti-police state. So while we have security, we're not all about disallowing the public from parliament and such, or intimidating them away.

No....by all means lets not offend anyone by profiling them. Lets just let them continue killing so we don't make anyone upset...well at least all Muslims will be safe from the killing right? I mean unless the killer interviews them then they won't know if they are extreme or not.

Ottawa Police are reporting another shooting incident at Ottawa's Rideau Center.

Seems like this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Press reporting that the second soldier at the war memorial ran for cover. The guns they hold are do not hold live ammunition. Sadly, they were sitting ducks.
