But why not Karen, who he spent all of the last two seasons obsessing over!?

I read an interview with him this morning. He said that Karen was the old stuff and 'done'.

The group needs to situate themselves somewhere and build a life/community. Like an anti-Woodbury.

I thought they could go back to the prison and clear it out again. It would work. They could build there. But this time they should bury or burn the dead outside the gates so they would have land to plant on. The cans of beans are going to go bad soon and they should have been starting farming by now.

Anyways, That's what I would have done.

I'm sure the canned goods will be edible for years to come but my question is this, when are the seasons ever gonna change? It's always summer in zombieland.

And why not find a more strategic place? The coast, an island. They're just going around the same area in circles.

According to the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks - An island wouldn't keep people safe. Zombies can walk on the bottom of the ocean and lakes, and walk out to the island.

But I agree. Stop somewhere that has some good farmlands and build walls, plant fruit trees, and hunker down.

okay I wanted to say about the last episode and in general but this last episode there was way to much symbolism to me. Does everything have to have a meaning. If your actually surviving.

And is it actually believable that there going to actually walk to Washington with no food no water your group is demoralized 60 miles. and little to no hope?

At least in the original story still they had Eugene's lie to carry them there. Like I don't know it doesn't seem viable for what Rick would do.

They keep trying that but people like the Governor always attacks. Look at the last episode before last, they had walls but it's not the zombies you always have to worry about. That's the theme of this show and the zombies are just a backdrop at this point. In a lawless post apocalyptic world, good can become great and bad can become worse.

So far they don't know where to go and are on their way to DC. Now DC isn't what I would call safe but I'll suspend disbelief cause I love this show. I would go to high ground, like way up a mountain.

The next bad men are about to be revealed. Do any of us trust that well groomed and clean stranger? The same person whose group left them that water. The next boss fight is now being set up.

Btw, how cool was it that a twister saved them from the zombie horde while they were in the barn?

See I thought it was morgan that left the water.
But ya how he said the " I am a friend" does make it sound like it was him/ his group.

You know the whole episode was about how the group seemed to reaching a breaking point but yet it was abraham that knocked the water away from Eugine.
The same guy that almost beat him to death was worried about his life at that point.
They really just blew over that, I wonder if that will be a convo later on down the road as to why he did that.

Also, for those that know the stories of the bible better then I, do you think there is any significance to the biblical names the characters have?
Mainly the priest as he has already shown shady ways.

Where the hell is Morgan anyway? But no, clearly the group that knows Rick's name and that he's the leader are the one watching them and left them the water. Morgan could just walk up to the group, not leave many full bottles of water with a note without his name on it. That doesn't make sense.

Many of them were reaching their breaking point, it seems all the characters have or will, but they always have friends who try to keep them level headed. They clearly need each other for their own sanity. Abraham was rightfully pissed off at Eugene for his grandiose lie. In the comic Abraham is very aggressive so the fact he didn't kill Eugene and didn't let him drink the water shows you he cares about him and thinks he's important to the group. Abraham is forgiving him for the lie because truth to be told it was that lie that kept Abraham alive.

Bible significance? I dunno, maybe a little being it's a zombie apocalypse and all but I wouldn't look too deep into it.

Ya good point about why it wasn't morgan, gosh didn't have to make is so blunt

And it seems like morgan is just on their coat tails, and now he found the map of them going to DC so seems he will still be tailing them. I thinking they reunite at the season finally.

Abraham is forgiving him for the lie because truth to be told it was that lie that kept Abraham alive

Another great point, it really was his driving force to accomplish his mission.

And ya the biblical thing is just something I have been throwing around in my head and finally decided to throw in down in the thread, I am probably over thinking it.

This evening, I was going to 'on demand' the episode from last night. But everything I've read says that this episode is one to skip. It was one hour of absolute nothingness. Daryl burns himself with a cigarette so he can feel the pain of the loss of Beth? That doesn't make sense to me. I may actually skip it.

I would give it a watch, it is a character development episode for sure but still wasn't bad.
Also has a nice ending but I am sure you have deduced what that is at this point from reading in here.

And the burning cig and Daryl was spot on IMO. His back story is coming from a abusive family, that is all he knows.
Maybe I am wrong there, but that was my take on it.

So....seen it all now. Tornado wipes out an attacking zombie herd but the rickety barn is still standing...

Supposedly this is THE best season to date. Still waiting.

This entire episode could have just been 3-5 minutes long. It was incredibly boring. Yes, it was supposed to be a character building episode....but not even a day later, I'm sitting here thinking "Ummmm....yea, this episode still sucked." All I remember for character building is Sasha's nuts, and Daryl still smokes. The really only important part was the last minute of this episode.

Ya this got me too.
Large trees are up rooted the barn is fine.
Literally said "oh come the # on" when they walked out and saw the destruction around them.
