I don't think he's lost control of the group. He will still be the leader and Michone (sp?) was always the one strong enough to co lead with him, along with Daryl. Michone didn't see eye to with him about this new group. She clearly wants a safe place to live, so does Rick, but after the Gov and the termites Rick finds it really hard to trust a friendly face. He's got the most to lose, his 2 children, one being an infant. It's bad enough they lose friends on a constant basis but could you imagine losing an infant?

Michone is still with Rick and she's the one looking after his best interests because his mistrust is getting the better of him. I still don't trust this new group but so far it has the signs of being okay... but never judge a book by it's cover.

I thought hands down the best scene of last weeks episode was Diana saying its 3:37 rick looks at and sets his watch. And says I used to be a cop. that transformation wow.

And even though there wasnt alot of action in the episode I enjoyed it, because you got to see the start of people being social. and maybe hints of some hook ups to come.

and Daryl He is the realest person. I am going to run around with a dead possum on my hip even though I got granite tabletops, running water, and a hot shower.

But I am about to gut this possum on the front porch. hahahah

That, IMHO, was the best part of the episode. Daryl is Daryl is Daryl...He isn't going to change, for anyone. I for one hope he doesn't change but I bet his house mates would LOVE for him to take a shower. Carol and her blazer, keeping up appearances? That really got on my nerves for some reason...Probably because I do not care for her character as much as some of the others, like Rick, Michone, Glenn, etc.

But I do not believe this peaceful place will last long. I'm counting down the days until the "leader" of the supply run team gets himself killed, either by one of the group or for not being very smart/growing soft in the comfy confines of Alexandria. He was quite the jerk and I loved it when Glen knocked his head off!

Carol is faking it until she has to get bitch on this new group. And Daryl wouldn't fit in in that setting - zombie apocalypse or not. I can see him saying "screw this!" and moving into that house just outside the wall whlere Rick hid the gun...and just biding time until Rick takes charge of the community.

The tension was crazy and I was more scared OF Rick and his group than FOR them! LoL!

Wasn't Ed carols old husband?
Cause she says she misses him, but wasn't he the one that beat her and what not?

yes but she is putting on a fake front to fool the new people. They are going to disregard her and think she's just a nice ol middle aged woman who wears sweaters and helps at church ... but in reality she can take them all down with a flick of her finger. She's being VERY smart. I saw that episode and thought 'man, she's brilliant!' She's wearing camouflage.

Dang...the horse is clearly a metaphor..for Daryl. Prefers to roam alone outside the walls and runs when someone offers help. But will he have the same fate?

And Carol....one twitch away from telling that little boy to look at the flowers.

Yeah, Carol was scary. It takes a lot to get to me but what she said gave me chills. She was so calm and said it like she was talking about the weather. Man, talk about goosebumps.

On Talking Dead, they said there was going to be a 'special surprise guest' which usually means it's whoever died in that episode. I thought they'd bring Buttons in.

Carol .... OH. MY. GOD. She's perfect.
Her camouflage is working perfectly. She's invisible and yet deadly.

I am binge watching all four seasons again so I'll be up and running before the start of season five.

That being said, I'm thinking Carol is my favorite Walking Dead person. She's magnificent! Her ploy to be invisible is perfect.

Carol's little "talk" with the kid was definitely the best thing in this episode.

The death of Buttons...not so much. That really ticked me off. Mostly because I've had to deal with horse death a bit the past couple of years, so not great to watch on screen.

I still think the one little girl is tied to an outside marauding group, and is spying for them (my guess is they are the "Wolves" mentioned previously in the graffiti, and the ones putting W's on zombie heads). Most likely, lead by the Exiles the Congress lady mentioned briefly in Rick's interview.

All said though, lights, running water, a community, etc. His group really needs to appreciate this after all they've been through.

I'm still trying to guess who took Rick's hidden gun. My guess is that the girl was probably out on a reporting run and saw him hide it, so took it the next time she snuck out.

I suspect the Congress lady is aware of the threat of the exiled group, and that is why she was so quick to welcome Rick's group and afford them some power and authority. She knows they are too soft to deal with such a group, and would rather have them with her than against her. Smart lady.

I am going to say that I did not like that carol scene it was like she was wicked grandma of the east. I think that scene was not needed. It kind of ruined the episode a little bit for me.

It hits on a bigger topic on it for me but why do the writes feel they need to change it up so much. if we remember right Glenn has always been the runner and the guy who gets things for the group and does those types of things. why would rick ask Carol to do that? it doesn't make sense when that is a perfect glenn job get in get out

yeah I am gonna call it I think Jesus is coming next. It could be somebody different they might rename him as well. BHut if you see a badass take out Michionne and Abraham singlehandedly that's who it is. he is so cool.

On the talking dead Chris hardwick and Kevin Smith were speculating on what the W meant they said something about "Wolves" I guess I am not that far into the comics because I have no Idea what that W means.

something I had been worrying about for this season with the death of Andrea was how her shoes were going to be filled. when I was at season 2 people were saying that Andrea was the best shot of the group and i guess it was reflected in some of the episodes. in the comics Andrea's role in this part of the story is huge, Now I guess Sahsa is going to be taken her place. with her gun work in the last episode and her wanting to be in that tower it seems like thats the case.

But my thing is I have never seen it hinted that Sahsa is like a good shot until last episode where she hit those pictures. I mean what says that she is better then maggie, or glen or rosita for that matter
