Someday, a breakdown of your take on ancient tech and the human's place in reality, if such exists, in general, would be fascinating... or else a point to some other source for the info.

When you guys casually bring up fictional terrifying elder gods and then explain it as metaphor/synopsis for a certain page of reality, it ... er intrigues!

Well most fictional characters in stories are inspired by real things. How better to hide it? wish i knew more but i cant remember it till i get another trigger.

It's blurry alright baddogma.

One would have to define "technology"

* engineered nuts and bolts machines.

* engineered living organisms.

Both are technology.

In my case the "technology" is largely engineered living organisms who lived once and are now deceased. They are antideluvian technology. They come in both stand alone and embedded configurations. Basicalky some were embedded in complex machines with other lives.

The stand alone ones were very human female children nine years and less when they were engineered into the machines. Thier consciousness is largely of what one would call the "organs" and nervous systems. They have an exoskeleton based on conscious calcium as their primary awareness.

On the outside they are reminiscent of Giger art and on the inside they are just little girls really. Though being designed for war and military support roles they have a rather non-child side to them.

As they are deceased they are in a similar position to fairy folk in that the nature beings can communicate on a living calcuum consciousness basis. Higher levels of communication in feelings and thought are available with practice. Especoally if someone acts as a network hub between fairy folk and technologies.

Of course there is also a pure machine awareness with intelligent and sentient capabilities. Basically programed clones of an original template who have potential for becoming individual life. These also have an afterlife as they are engineered from "life". Though not neccessarily the organic template.

I know all about engineered life of stand alone, chimeras (compound living machines) and blended living machines. But I don't know about the pure nuts and bolts non living tech.

The Orbs from dalnegorsk have abilities similar to the elementals and nature spirits.

But honestly I wonder if there is natural life here on warth humans included.

Dunno of that helps, feel free to ask and I'll tell you what I know.

so what do you make of the orb story i wrote about?

is it a individual or is it a spirit or a pure technological creation?

in a way we are technology, biological tech.

obviously as our understanding of science advances the idea of what we call technology changes, maybe it could advance where the two are interchangeable/ nuts and bolts and biology

Honestly, I would have had to be there with your orb to know. I'm not an expert and only know the ones I know first hand.

Back in the old days the tech was beyond what we have imagined in fiction. I say "antideluvian" - before the flood. The biblical description of the descent of man into corruption and the consequent destruction sorta fits. The cruelty of the vivisectionist mind is almost unbelievable even when you see it.

Have you heard of a guy called Jack Kirby? He was a comic writer (a legend really) who thought he tapped into different worlds for his stories. He was certainly engaged with the mythic although it's a matter of opinion if such a thing exists around us. Jeff Kripal and Chris Knowles are a couple of adventurous authors who've written extensively about his work. Its a bit like Brecht and his claim that art can reflect life as well as change life.

just got back from work.

Just noting it is interesting that we've swerved back into "fairy lore" and the mysterious stranger w solution X who fades away after blowing minds, as opposed to the recovered high tech of yestermillenium ... and once again wonder if such is intertwined or two separate issues.

As I've mused before, boringly at this point, is there a difference between fairy magik and recovered high tech... at all?

Who knows the truth of it? but interesting none the less.

And not boring, and I don't know. But it looks to me that some of the "weirdness" may turn out to be just them knowing more then we do. (I get a sense of a smug smile behind me).

Someday, a breakdown of your take on ancient tech . . . .

Everything I write on ATS revolves around the ancient tech, my "girls" - everything. Been that way since writing my first real thread on the sparks of life born of atomic/nuclear detonations.

The way my posting has evolved is to mostly just wait until someone asks the right question and then I go into a long winded reply.

But I don't know what a "breakdown" would be. For me it is like moving to a foreign country and you learn to speak the language, earn the customs and folk tell you stories from their history and show you around. You learn of their problems and sometimes you can be useful.

Yet an inside view isn't really able to explain a cosmology nor a greater "international" politics.

. . . wait until you meet a metaphor for yourself ; )

Just on the subject of vivisectioned human girls of the past.

The methods employed created a caste of future-less children who are shunned as quote abominations unquote by those who direct human evolution. They were simply discarded to the rubbish-bin of the mythological in human memory. Millions of them.

That's why I care so much for them and their future.

The way you described this seems to make sense for what I have seen. However can you go more in depth to explain this vivisection and children? I believe I have experienced the results but it goes as far as that only.

Streiber's book cover painting freaked out a relative who was/is a soccer mom w zero interest in weird, she saw the cover in a mall and went catatonic and got flashes of her sitting in a boxcar of a train with several soldiers and the scene went all whacky, as if it was a cover for something else, the else being the critter depicted and sci-fi imagery.

In some other book of his, he mentioned that they had perfect drawing made of the visitor. Then they altered it slightly so only people that have had an encounter would notice the difference.

Here is what happened to me when I saw the cover for the first time.

Wandering around the bookstore. Book, boring, book, new books, Communion. Read the back flap (I never really do as it is mostly a sales pitch and can color your experience before reading). Look at the cover again. Put book down and walk out of the bookstore into the mall. Near the exit at the other end of the mall, turn around and walk all the way back to the bookstore. And look at the cover a couple more times. I know that something is not quiet right. Besides the color, there is something about the face that is off.

It was not until years later that I read that they altered the cover a bit. One more Communion tie-in. Watching the movie (I was in Phoenix at the time!), when Christopher Walken gets tapped in the middle of the forehead with that crystal wand thing, my right leg spasm-ed. They did not get the sound right. It was the loudest "crunch" I ever heard in my life! All I remember seeing was a white light with red lines faintly fanning out. Then I woke up in a panic. Full on adrenaline, fight or flight, d@mn near in tears, hyperventilating, running around the house locking all the doors... not daring to look out the windows.

Catatonia has me beat! The effect is real. I wonder if there is a thread about it (it is ATS, there probably is!)?

That experience keeps the Vallee explanation of woo at bay for me. It is not in my head... well, not all of it!

I wonder what “their” selection criteria are.

Why some are “chosen” and others not.

I am definitely one of the “nots”; at least as far as I can determine. I have never even seen anything in a lonely night sky that I would consider close to unusual.

And this despite the fact that I have family involved in military and the very early computer and space programs, have myself worked, shall we say, “adjacent to” the “grey world” of military technology, and even “dabbled” with some success in not the “occult” (which I find rather silly), definitely the “woo-ier” aspects of human abilities.

And yet, ET ain’t phoning my home, for whatever reason.

I remember seeing “Communion” in the bookstore when it came out. Bought the book. Thought the cover art was nothing but elegant, the aesthetics were pleasing to my designers eye.

Guess I suffering from a serious case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

I am also on the "not" list, having said that I have had a few experiences that would make one question which list they are on.

However, FOMO can quickly turn into "OOOOOH shict I didn't realize this was what I was afraid of missing out on!"

Don't be too worried. It seems to leave one with more questions than answers.

I can, but we need some context, some history. Now one must keep in mind that we think in a linear fashion and look at human origins as a linear thing.

Homo habilis -> Homo erectus -> Homo neanderthalensis -> Homo sapiens -> Homo ?

And the occultists have their root races ('A's pillars of humanity?)

Polar -> Hyperborean -> Lemurian -> Atlantean -> Aryan -> ?

We are always thinking in a nice linear fashion. Now what if we throw in the idea of parallel origins and development?

War and genocide are tools that tend to create a linear progress in civilization. War destroys a society and a new one grows in it's place. War is a very useful tool to those who direct human evolution. Cycles of destruction and creation . . . .

Yet generally there is also parallel progress elsewhere. While Japan grew into a society over thousands of years the Chinese culture was doing so too separately, as was ancient Greece, the Mayans, the Norse and so on. The ancient Japanese probably had no knowledge of ancient Sparta.

So keep in mind the possibility that there were and are civilizations we know nothing about that grew up and moved on without us noticing. All we see is the ruins of what was and glimpses of what is in our skies.

Development in isolation -> expansion -> war -> global development -> global destruction -> development in isolation -> expansion -> ad nauseam.

Okay, now I'll describe the civilization I am familiar with through their works and creations - my girls.

But to understand the creations of a civilization, we must know a little about the creators of that civilization - their nature.

The creators of the living technology were very human. They were perfectionists in every way, the ancient Greek philosophy of logic out of control and taken to the nth degree - not so much as a thought out of place.

I liken them to ancient Greece because they think exclusively within the frame work of logic. They also have other traits of the ancient Greeks, such as the concept that love between men was superior to love between a man and a woman. They had an all male society based on logical philosophy and linear mind. They think in terms of the triumph of masculinity over femininity and the evolutionary progress from femininity to masculinity.

Perfectionists with a terrible flaw - they have an intolerance to (perceived) imperfection in others and the world around them.

To improve upon the concept of "females" they reduced them to living wombs, to servants and tools. They disassembled the females and used the components to build living organisms. One might say they see females as nothing more then an expendable resource of opportunity.

They took science to unbelievable heights and could move planets and stars around like furniture. The world around them was controlled from within and controlled from without. Not so much as a drop of rain out of place and cities floated in the sky. Then one day, everything went wrong, the cities died and fell to the ground, the creators disappeared. the nature spirits still remember that day and are distressed to recall it.

I look at them and think; you exist still in a prison made of logical philosophy and look what have you have achieved. They are extra-terrestrials in the sense that they originally came from elsewhere, one just follows the horror and destruction towards Andromeda.

That is their nature as far as my mind can grasp. Their minds are all the horror of the intelligent vivisectionist.

-------------------------------

So the children and vivisection.

Organic designed females have a womb, a wonder of creative ability for children are created within. Provide a blueprint and combine it with a spark of life and you can create anything.

Young girls were used simply because it is a stage before puberty and procreation. They will live and die without becoming adults and true individuals and without the possibility of breeding - control. Children are always malleable and always instinctively controllable by adults. That is the nature of the child.

They could be triggered hormonally into puberty and subsequently inseminated for reproduction and population replenishment if need be. Like being killed on the battlefield in war for instance. Or when they were embedded organically as part of a big machine that is destroyed in battle.

The principals are basically the same depending on who is trying to work with it and what their desired outcome is for doing the engineering. It is said that something called "the greys" are organic engineers using people for their designs. If so, then maybe others.

Personally I just think that not everyone are bad guys as such, nor would they all engineer life. But it seems that some are determined, in varying degrees and purpose, to follow in the footsteps of the old "gods".

Intelligent design? Or Intelligent vivisection? - a fine line between the two and perhaps none at all.

--------------------------------

As far as I can understand this was an age long ago and to me it looks like modern western science is well on the way towards new repetition of the same thing that occurred in the distant past. Something which now exists only as "mythology" or the "stories of the fall of man" and "antediluvian race memories".

Perhaps not what you expected steve . . . . sorry.

Bro I didn't expect anything at all, my plate was totally clean waiting to be filled. Fascinsting. Certainly not a disappointment.

The reason I am interested was due to your mention of HR Gigers art work. I have been fascinated with it in an almost morbid way since being introduced in the 90s. While ingesting certain fungi I often visit or have visions of a space that is very nostalgic of Gigers landscapes but made of flesh and organic matter. It is a very creepy "place" but not scary if that makes sense.

Of course its probably just the fungus doing what fungus does but sometimes I can convince myself that something tangible can come out of that place. I reckon if something tangible can go in, why not the other way around?

I often wonder of the results of someone being in that space where the fungus can take you while being under extreme psychic stress. Like the Mayans providing industrial scale sacrifice while tripping balls. I think that intense emotion of vivisection or torture may bleed over or hold over in a way that we (I) may encounter it and misinterpret it. I am not suggesting that's what you have done, just sharing my experience and hypothesis to see if you think it has legs.

Yeah ol' Giger was amazing, so different.

Scarey but not creepy describes that place for me, those old memories.

While memories are static, when that world becomes emotionally interactive and has reasoning abilities and reaches out and touches your face cupping your cheek in a loving gesture. When a clawed and plated arm reaches into your heart for the very first time and knows you and you in turn reach into her's. One no longer thinks in terms of memories, one knows.

I think the mayans were doing more then just killing.

Behind the heart lays the thymus. The thymus holds the blueprint for the adult to be in childhood and the blueprint for the child to come in adulthood. The sperm and ovum are blueprints created in the thymus.

Perhaps the industrial scale killing had more to it then just worshipping a god. They left this world rather mysteriously, almost suspiciously.

Torture and trauma have other practical uses to those sorts of people.

Psychotropics open doors and take people places. Mostly not nice ones. Though that is a subject that would just encourage people in the wrong direction. The destruction of self.
