I can guarantee all of you applauding his actions wouldn't do that with your family in your car so settle down. Everyone of you know if you start beaking off, you're bound to get resistance. Duh. If you want to put an end to the illegal check stops, you won't do it by being the lone wolf with your YT account. Starts with the people you elect. I dunno. You'd be surprised how far a 'how's your day sir?" will go. Not long ago I got pulled over for no seat belt plus I was speeding, motorcycle cop. Had my drone sitting beside me in the passenger seat too, was heading out to fly. We talked, even got into a minor debate about seat belt fatality statistics and I bragged about how amazing of a driver I am. He asked me about my drone and we talked briefly about how far it can go and how much it costs. All I got was the seat belt ticket and and he let me know he's letting me off the speeding. Point is, cops are just regular people too but when you immediately jump out of the gate on them, they go into 'work mode'. You don't want that. You want them in 'people' mode. Tone of voice and choice of words means everything.

If a cop can't do his job while someone is being "belligerent" then they need to find other work.

Last night I got pulled over for the first time ever. I'm in my mid 20s I think that's pretty good. I was speeding, now I immediately pulled over as soon as those lights went on. "Yes sir" "No sir" "I understand completely sir" made it a routine traffic stop. One ticket for speeding, done in 10 minutes. The cop was rude but why feed him excuses to execute his powers? Being polite and answering his simple questions made all the difference.

If I flipped out about rules, laws, unconstitutionality, I would've been in a lot of trouble. There's a time and place for everything. Aside from the uniform, they're people too and we shouldn't sell a ticket to anyone.

I cannot speak for everybody though. Situations differ, cops can be very nasty, those being pulled over can cause it to escalate as quickly as a cop. Be safe and take solace in the fact that when TSHTF, the police will eventually realize how little they're needed...along with the rest of us.

No it's not illegal to mouth off to a cop. He wasn't even mouthing off, just being an annoying tool. Which could very well be considered police interference which IS an indictable offence. Point is again (sigh) why would you want to be in that situation in the first place? Hence, got what he deserved. Tell you what there mr Patriotic, go load your trunk up with booze and whatever contraband and ask yourself if you would do what he did? Prob not. Why?? Because you know why. Cause's it's dumb. Case closed.

There's a time and place for everything. If it's something minor why make a mountain out of a molehill? You shouldn't insult members just because you disagree. I disagree with you but I see value in your opinions. The police are not your friends, and making a situation like this worse does not help.

Shake virtual hands or whatever and realize you have more in common with people on the other side than you think. We're all in this hole together, infighting will achieve nothing.

To be honest, if I saw you in trouble with the police or anyone I'd help out. Because you're essentially a brother in oppression like the rest of us. I don't like the system and I think it's fascism. But TPTB want us fighting amongst ourselves so we never unite.
