"He" essentially got everything wrong, from 9/11/2001 to now. I simply can't see why people are still considering anything he has posted.

Regarding the photo -- all light would bend… it's physics.

Let's say I give you the first two points, you have no references for the third (Mobile phones streaming voice over web services), that stood out the most to me.

I am keeping an open mind, but that last point is simply too specific to have been predicted and definitely didn't exist around his time because the framework was simply not there...

It's one thing to talk about mini black holes in a science fiction story, and another to explain the intricacies of how that theory come's into practice... that science fiction is becoming fiction, CERN are researching into it and now have the LHC which will produce mini black holes.

John describes comprehensively how the overall system works, no science fiction story goes that far (low-mid level) detail of the inner workings of the time machine.

Please don't put your opinion as being facts of physics...

You're claiming that all light in proximity would be bent, but there is no light in the photo past the point that the laser light starts to bend that is available to bend...

All light = entire scene. The "smoke" in the laser pointer is but one small bit of light from the entire scene.

People that don't understand physics shouldn't try to defend it. It's best to be thought a fool then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt. All these "amateurs" saying only the laser light bends have to be joking. You all are familiar with how a camera works right? The image would show complete distortion... period.

The rest is so easily debatable. How was he wrong on 9/11? He didn't predict anything about 9/11? He in fact didn't predict anything about us, he only told us what happened in his time line.

Lucky for me physics aren't. This educational experience alone has flagged this a hoax period. You'd think the guy would've made a comment about the first black president being in power during this nuclear war too to prove his point. He straight up mentions issues between Bush and Kerry...

Whats funny is while researching CERN from links off of Rense is how I found ATS and the John Titor story, its one of the reasons I joined and I have the posts in Titor threads to prove it.

I dont understand why people put faith in his predictions since he said that he lived in a different timeline to us and so things may have panned out much differently in his world.

Not correct.

He said there would be no Olympics after 2004.

There was no US "Civil War" in 2004… with a "Waco type event" every month, steadily getting worse.

The US did not split into five regions as a result of a the worst of the US civil war in 2008.

He claimed that, as a 13-year old in 2011, he fought with a shotgun infantry unit of Florida -- the "Fighting Diamondbacks."

That "multiverse" premise wasn't brought up until lots of his predictions were challenged in the original discussion threads.

ok here goes :

a fairly common " defence " of titors claims is the invocation of the multiverse model , wherein different timelines can exist in parrealel realities

the problem with applying this to titors idiocy - is that is an all or nothing scenario - ie

if 2 given multiverses are claimed to be separate timelines - then nothing that happens in one has any bearing on the other

further - if titor did come from another multiverse - then the differences which have cascaded down 6000 years of history would make human civilisation in our timeline totally alien to him

to put it bluntly - in the multiverse theory - there s no garuntee that the IBM computer titor came for would ever have been invented in this timeline [ as seen from titors timeline ]
